  • Simple Fishing Boat 9.1 years ago

Beautiful boat. I love it's simplicity. If you want to upgrade it with an engine that actually works under water, you can find one on some of my builds, mostly smaller vessels. If you decide to do so, no credit is needed. Underwater props are featured on a patrol boat on my profile page.

  • Thanks For Gold!!! 9.1 years ago

Congratulations. I was inactive for a few days, so I haven't seen earlier. You earned it. Also, these trophies are beautiful.

Nice submarine, m8. Keep up the good work.

  • M.Corp Puma 9.1 years ago

@ChasingHorizon nah... I kinda got bored of SP, and also, real life kicked in... Anyway, I might become active again if I manage to find a good use for the new intakes and parachutes.

  • XML modder needed 9.1 years ago

@kukimuki1234 što se tiče modova, ja koristim jedino FineTuner. Neaktivan sam jer imam posla u stvarnom životu.

  • M.Corp Puma 9.1 years ago

@DanThediamondMincartKid thanks m8. I have already built a couple of air boats. I'm kinda out of inspiration these days, and also, out of time to build anything.

  • Ship hulls 9.1 years ago

@CODENAMEBOB a tank out of giant ship hulls? I say, go for it! =3

@Racrandall you put blocks that can hold fuel, or find an infinite fuel tank somewhere on the site.

  • The apology post. 9.2 years ago

@Himynameiswalrus I can see me Squirrel and I being mentioned in the same comment. The thing between us reaches out of the site, and is a bit more complex. It's not an argument. It's more of a competition between two self-proclaimed geniuses. A battle of minds, so to say. Just as many people play chess with wooden figures, we are playing it with words. Don't worry about that. I'm not expecting an apology from him, and there's nothing to apologize for. Squirrel and I have stopped talking to each other in order to avoid doing something stupid on the site.

  • P-93 Encore Mk1 9.2 years ago

Med, it's a great plane. I don't want it to be your last. I understand that you are busy, you're not the only one, but take your time. I want to see more of these.

  • Motor Torpedo Boat (Part 1) 9.2 years ago

    @TheChosenZebra no problem m8

  • Monster 9.2 years ago

@Stampede that would allow us to actually make wings out of fuselage blocks

Would it be possible to have a button somewhere (optimally in the falling many after you tap on your username, under "notifications" button) that leads directly to the Jet Stream?

Nice. But why is the hood flat? Everything else is good. Also, a few more details wouldn't hurt.

  • Delta-13 9.2 years ago

Great job. I love the paint scheme.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp ugh, these actually are hard to make. You have to mould the entire body out of fiberglass or carbon fiber, for what you have to be quite skillful, you need special tools, and a bunch of money for materials and tools. Alternative is to stretch fabric/nylon over a wire frame to make a fuselage.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp as for the cheerer stuff, are you planning to make something like this?

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp I never wanted the grudge to come back. Andrew has been informed on the matter, and it's being delt with.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp I know, and he knows it too. It's an old grudge between the two of us, apparently.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@Squirrel excuse me, who's harassing who? I'm encouraging AwiownCorp to pursue his dream, and you are trying to prove me wrong. In my opinion, you are still angry about the argument we had, and you are trying to annoy me enough to break the rules. That's kinda dirty game, Squirrel.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp here's your engine. Just choose the model

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp we are talking ultralight here, right? A relatively simple, light weight aircraft? If so, it's doable. It looks harder to make than a drone due to its size. It does cost more in terms of materials, but it's not much harder to make. As for the engine, I would suggest taking an air-cooled engine, like the one used on motorcycles. Fuel tank - from the same motorcycle. Some of the parts would have to be genuine aviation parts (gauges, landing gear). Most of the others can be salvaged from cars, or hand-made. For seat, you can use a seat from a wrecked sports car, for example. It's light weight and durable. Fixed pitch wooden propellers shouldn't be expensive. You can find a lot of parts on aircraft scrapyards, if there are any within your reach. Making a plane takes a lot of time and effort, but no matter what Squirrel says, it's possible.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@Squirrel so, I'm right? Given the time and effort, it's doable. That's my point.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@Squirrel read his comments please. He wants to make a plane to transport himself. As simple as possible. It would probably go like this: quit the game - get a job - get money - buy parts and work on the weekend - work more - buy more parts - work on the plane - work for more money - buy more parts... People have done it. It's not impossible.

  • B335 Tetros 9.2 years ago

    @Benny3053 I'll be ready for it =)

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp Squirrel is learning for an aircraft engineer. He would be able to help, if not for his attitude.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@Squirrel I think you misunderstood. The guy wants to make a plane. If he finds a decent job with free weekends, he can do it as a hobby for as long as it takes. The guy I mentioned didn't build his plane over night. It took him almost a year to make it, and a few months to gather money to register it. You know it's doable that way. You are just trying to prove your point. If you want to continue this conversation, message me on hangouts.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@Squirrel dude, aren't you supposed to be moderating or something, not destroying somebody's dream of flying?
@AviownCorp you can do it. I believe in you. There are dozens of ways. Find one and do it.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@Squirrel I already said that I've met a guy who made a plane that way, in the country where average salary is around 250$, and seen his plane. That means it's doable. Rest are just technicalities.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@PlanesOfOld it's possible to do it that way, but I would rather stick with aluminum and fabric, due to weigh reduction.
@Squirrel I think it would be a bit impractical to rivet aluminum tubes. And yes, the cheapest way would be to make the exterior out of canvas or tough nylon. I have considered making such a plane myself, so I have already considered most of the possibilities. Only reason I failed is the fact that I was a kid without funds back then, and I'm too lazy to do it now.

  • Messerschmitt Me Libelle 9.2 years ago

    Zanmljiva stvarčica

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@MasterMindIndustriesAndAviationCorporation it is, but since making a plane in such a way takes time, I believe he could spare that much over the course of one, maybe two years.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@Squirrel how hard could it be to find a guy who knows how to weld aluminum? I know at least two people who do it for a living.

@AviownCorp as for propulsion, ask an expert. A friend of my uncle has a home-built ultralight which uses an engine from the motorcycle. That plane is certified to fly, and my country has rather strict regulations regarding flying. Of course, you can't make a plane all by yourself. You'll need a welder, a mechanic, and a guy who can craft more complex parts, like wing ribs and engine struts. It would be the best to work by already existing blueprints, to make sure it will be flyable. It's a lot of work, and it requires some investments, but it's doable.

  • Focke-Wulf FW 42 9.2 years ago

@kukimuki1234 nisi ga loše odradio, ali je to avion koji je ružan i u stvarnosti.

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp yes, I am. But did you consider my point of view? You can make an actual plane. SP can do as a basic tutorial. Now you have to learn some physics, play with wooden models, do an extensive research on ultralight aircraft... Learn how to weld aluminum tubes and make a plane. Wright brothers did it in the early 1900s, without any previous knowledge. Now, you can find instructions on the Internet, materials are cheap, you can buy aircraft parts from scrapyard... You wouldn't be the first guy to make a plane in his shead.

  • de Havilland Comet DH.88 9.2 years ago

@kukimuki1234 čoveče, iskuliraj više. Ja umalo da budem banovan zbog ovakvih gluposti. Ako ti se ne sviđa, samo ga ignoriši. Možda možeš da mu daš neki savet ili tako nešto. Ovo stvarno nije lepo.

  • Regarding my new username 9.2 years ago

@ChasingHorizon ugh, looks like Squirrel was bored again...
    How's Arizona coming along?

  • THE REALIZATION 9.2 years ago

@AviownCorp have you thought of designing a plane affordable to everyone? Not a fighter jet, but a light two-seater. Manufacturing of such a plane would cost less than 1000$. Concentrate on cheap materials, like aluminum tubing and fabric, using wires to move control surfaces. You can create a basic model of such a plane here in SP, then start working on individual pieces, like the frame, wing ribs, powerplant... It's a big project, it would require a lot of research, but I would love to see in the forums a first picture of AviownCorp I, the affordable flyer. Dreams do come true, but you have to work for them, and work hard.

  • B3053 Metros 9.2 years ago

It's a nice basic design, but it lacks details. Also, wings are too big, in my opinion.
