@Viperfox eh... you didn't read quite well, did you? What we said is exactly the opposite of what you are saying. We are just guys who are good at this, and who don't behave like you do. "Masters" is just a name of the group. We support quality, and yes, we only take good builders. But being a good builder is not all it takes. Some guys are not members for dumb reasons, like talking like you did in that comment once, urging us not to add him, in order to keep our chat clean. We support other, more open groups, like "SP Builders" group ran by Dllama4, and as of recently "Underlings chat" ran by Supercraft888, both on Discord. We also support a group of users from Philippines, on Google Hangouts, which is a closed group. We are trying to help new users get better, we often help iOS users with their builds, we are trying to keep the entire community clean by keeping an eye out for stuff to pass directly to moderators, etc. I don't see what we did to deserve comments like yours.
@Planefun thank you. I understand that maintaining a plane costs a lot. However, you will notice the difference in manufacture and maintenance costs between Russian and American planes, for example. Let's say, you don't design brand new electronics for a plane like this. Its role doesn't require it. Take stuff from already existing planes, reprogram it for this plane's specs, and you have part commonality. Also, you can use cheaper components, due to them not being under a lot of stress. For engines, you use cheapest you can find or produce that will give high enough power output, which further reduces costs. If you already have those on another plane, that lowers development costs, and thus, production costs. Use all the parts that you already have, that fit on this plane, to further reduce costs. If you have a same fuel valve on ten widely used planes, you can mass produce it, making it a lot cheaper than if it was made on order. There are many cost-reducing measures one can take, that could, theoretically, lower the price of a plane by as much as 30%, and maintenance by 20%. Of course, I'm not really an expert on this, and this is stuff I got from my knowledge of how manufacturing works, and some internet research.
@Planefun yeah, but this one would be cheaper to maintain than a comparable plane of, let's say, US origin. Cheaper parts, simplified mechanisms, more durable components. Cost is, of course, weight penalty.
@zyxtom no problem. Your latest four builds show good potential, and I'd like to see you progress. I'll be following you so I don't miss your future builds.
@zyxtom around 0.5 at roots and 0.25 at tips, but they look thick here. Try using Overload mod to input custom dimensions. The thing near the top of Overload window that says "Part" is a drop-down menu, and gives you other tabs. You can do a lot of things with that.
Not much in terms of design, but very easy to fly. It bounces off the water, which is fun. Landing gear would be a nice addition. Also, since you seem to be new around here, here's my copy-paste tips for new users:
Welcome to the community. Read the rules here. You will gain points (the number in the white square next to your username). One "Upvote" on a plane you upload brings 15 points, and an upvote on the forum post brings 2 points. Once you reach 100 points, your point field (currently white) will turn bronze, at 1000 points silver, at 5000 gold, and black (we call it platinum) at 25000 points. To tag a person in the comment, put "@" in front of their username, or hit the "Reply" button on their comment (ex: @PandaGamer). This will send notification to the person you mentioned. I wish you a happy stay in the SimplePlanes community, and a lot of points.
@SledDriver yup. You have an interesting technique, but a bit abstract designs for my taste. This one has a genuine plane shape. Your technique would be very usefull for me and many others, for crafting wing roots and other smooth curves.
Pretty nice. Just a few "flaws" I noticed. Wings are too thick, and wide. Also, I think it looks better when stock control surfaces are left behind the fuselage wings, so they don't clip through blocks.
@BaconAircraft I just checked. SP connections glitch again... The rudder got attached to the vertical stabilizer, and the hinge got detached from it, and all I did since last testing the rudder was landing lights on wings...
Very nice. Great details, good functionality, and great performance. I'm not an expert on F-105, but that's the kind of performance I would expect from a plane like that.
@JayAr when you edit it, make a few random changes (drag a part from the list, place it, delete it), and hit "Undo". That refreshes the editor, and changes take effect.
@ShatSlanger you have some very nice builds. However, guys on the chat are apparently not in a mood to add new guys. They voted against three very good users in a row in the last few weeks.
@JayAr I use a trial-and-error approach to building. I start with an idea, and tweak it until it's right. It's near impossible to make a tutorial on that. I don't have any particular system
Maybe you should have pushed those engines up to keep them clear of water. Anyway, not a bad upgrade.
MiG-21
You scaled width with Fine Tuner with "Scale only selected part" unchecked
@AudioDud3 well thank you :)
@AudioDud3 it's old and ugly. Looks like a cartoon weasel with that nose
@PandaGamer no problem buddy
@PhantomBladeCorp no problem
@Planefun no problem
@Yellow lol, you are a third person to tell me that
@CoolPeach no problem
Very nice. Amazing details, especially for an iOS build.
@aseder no problem. It's a very good looking ship. Missiles are a bit difficult to point in a right direction, but can be used.

@IguasOs yup
@EternalDarkness sure
@Mentos Overload mod and Fine Tuner mod. They help a lot with building. They take some getting used to, but are necessary for small details.
@OverlordAeronautics2 that's the night sky. I have kept the older version of Designer with vehicles mod
@AdrianFlyingAce I might do that someday
We need these

If you need anything, just ask.
@Blue0Bull lol
@ChaMikey no problem
@Rcb1235 no problem. It's a very nice cutter (that's what US Coast Guard calls large boats).
@SledDriver cool
@SledDriver yup. You have an interesting technique, but a bit abstract designs for my taste. This one has a genuine plane shape. Your technique would be very usefull for me and many others, for crafting wing roots and other smooth curves.

@CRJ900Pilot DeezDucks already noticed that. I rushed the upload just to get this plane off of my projects list, and didn't fix that.
@CRJ900Pilot yup. Kinda based on An-26, but with a bit of a western touch.
@BaconAircraft I just checked. SP connections glitch again... The rudder got attached to the vertical stabilizer, and the hinge got detached from it, and all I did since last testing the rudder was landing lights on wings...
@BaconAircraft rudder got killed? I did one last test before upload, but didn't use rudder. I rarely do that.
@BogdanX thanks
I'm on it
He left long time ago
@Feanor try dropping Tzar on Tokyo
@Kambeckham no problem
@Kambeckham yup. There's a wing made out of fuselage blocks, and an actual wing piece inside it, with control surfaces sticking out behind
He did, as far as I know. I don't know why.
@DeathStalker627 no problem
It's very cute. Maybe you should make it into a higher quality build

+1@ShatSlanger you have some very nice builds. However, guys on the chat are apparently not in a mood to add new guys. They voted against three very good users in a row in the last few weeks.
@JayAr they are made entirely out of fuselage blocks. I have used a lot of xml editing to get them right, through Overload mod and Fine Tuner mod.
+1That is a thing called dissymmetry of lift (Wiki article). It makes a rotorcraft roll and yaw in forward flight, but doesn't influence hover.
@JayAr I use a trial-and-error approach to building. I start with an idea, and tweak it until it's right. It's near impossible to make a tutorial on that. I don't have any particular system
