@switdog08 also, you may want to join some Discord servers. There is a good one you can access through my bio, Builders chat. You can talk directly to other users there, and learn new tricks.
@switdog08 you've been playing for tw years and still haven't read the rules? You don't ask for upvotes, you earn them. This challenge might be a good opportunity to catch some attention, as some users will be browsing successors to check the competition. To make your post a successor to the challenge (and thus an entry), download the challenge post, delete everything that is not a cockpit, and build from there.
@RamboJutter I have a perfect track record of fairly rating my challenges, and have hosted the best challenge in history of SP. You can trust this challenge to be decided shortly after the deadline.
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck getting help is perfectly fine. Rules even specify reward sharing for collaboration projects, so you can build it with a friend from start to finish.
@IliaPilot could you be more specific? I don't think there are any VTOL planes fitting the rules, but I might be wrong, and I myself have a concept for that in mind that could work.
@Chancey21 one per category is allowed. And I don't want ultralights and race planes as I am trying to encourage people to build personal transport planes.
@Kimcotupan15 I'm glad you like it. I consider it by best mobile-friendly build. If you decide to make a small plane yourself, consider participating in my upcoming General Aviation challenge. It should be posted today or tomorrow.
I've removed the N word from description. I personally don't consider it particularly offensive, but there are some very sensitive snowflakes in the community.
@Chancey21 it depends. You can buy it with a simpler instrument panel, or, as stated in description, with just half of the instrument panel. You don't need to go for $100,000 full G1000. Airframe is more expensive than Cessna 172 due to intensive use of composites, but shouldn't be much more expensive, as technologies of manufacturing composites are constantly bringing their price lower. The rest aren't expensive components, and are fairly standard among modern GA planes.
@randomusername I have just cheched. It enters a spin at 58mph (93km/h) with flaps falfway down, full pitch up, trim halfway up. I can't do more thorough test rn.
@randomusername trim tabs mean you set trim for the speed, and do not constantly adjust attitude via stick. When autopilot is disengaged, trim is manually controlled.
@randomusername nope. It takes a pretty hard pull on the yoke at rotation speed to get the nose off the ground. Then you maintain a 7-10° nose up until you are clear of the runway. Then you transition to level fligt as speed increases. And you use a lot of trim to negate "pitching issue", which is the very reason trim exists.
The part that the rotator is moving got attached to something else. Nudge the rotator and the part it moves away from the plane (use FineTuner so you don't miss the distance when you nudge it back), select the part, and shift+k it (it refreshes connections). Then nudge it back.

Please try to make major changes to a plane before posting it. Simply painting an object a different color, or adding a few guns is not enough to consider it your own. In the future please credit the original maker, and try to post your own work.
@randomusername what pitching issue? If you are referring to different lift at different speeds, that's how aerodynamics work. Symmetric wings don't create any lift at any speed unless they have some AoA, which is why you don't get different lift at different speeds. They are only good for stabilizers.

@MakarnaliMussolini I know that. This vehicle has been sitting in my saves for a while and predates tracks mod by a few months. I didn't want to risk damaging it by replacing tracks.
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck I don't have any hydrofoils planned, unfortunately. I've just noticed that this one is broken and won't lift out of the water anymore.
Your post has been removed as it is basically begging for upvotes. Try improving the quality of your builds and socialize with other users. Best way to improve build quality is dissecting builds made by more experienced and higher rated users. See what they are doing right and try to adapt that to your needs. That will get you the attention you want.

@Chancey21 a floaty biplane? Excellent choice. I was already afraid I'll get 172 Cessna 172s.
+2@BogdanX keep quiet, you'll scare away other participants. Nobody wants you as an opponent :)
+2@switdog08 I'm not expecting many interiors on this challenge. Can't wait to see your entry. Make sure to stick to requirements.
+1@RamboJutter results were made as a forum post. Three forum post actually. One for each category. And fourth announcing the overall winner.

@Roswell thanks.

+2@Chancey21 @Kimcotupan15 you've expressed interest in the challenge. Here it is.
+2@GeneralOliverVonBismarck 😊

+5@BaconAircraft thanks. Yeah, I've noticed that wings are a bit thin, bu by that time it was too late to remake them.
+1More precisely, begging for upvotes.

+1@LusKa I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
@PlayingSimple thanks. I'm glad you like it. It's the simplest solution I could think of to hide the suspension.
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck lol
@Chancey21 price would be higher than the price of Cessna 172, but still lower than Beechcraft Bonanza.
+1@randomusername I have just cheched. It enters a spin at 58mph (93km/h) with flaps falfway down, full pitch up, trim halfway up. I can't do more thorough test rn.
@randomusername that constant is the same for all planes? If not, how is it derived?
+1@Carbonfox1 :)
@mikoyanster thanks.
@randomusername where did you find 3.17? Yeah, I'm aware that stall speed is ridiculously low.
+1@grizzlitn thank you.
@ThomasVc I'm glad you like it.
+1@CRJ900Pilot that's what it basically is. Also, twice more power under the hood.
+3@flyingsteve88 @Dllama4 thanks guys.

+1Excellent work. Great details.
Very nice build. Lovely wing flex.
Just use custom control surfaces. Then you can set trimming rotator to whatever value you want.
+1@BlackhattAircraft you've upvoted this post, and yet you keep tagging me to remove copies...
