    @JMicah4 Thanks! I had to play around with the settings so I could actually see it. It's helpful to have a decent camera.

  • How does propeller pitch work? 7.5 years ago

    Pitch affects speed definitely! I found my sweet spot at +40 pitch. If it's at neutral, there will be no speed. The engine would blow up due to overspeed because the propellor is not creating substantial drag. However, auto is the best way to go. What do you mean @Gestour pitch definitely effects speed!

  • Hughes H1 Racer 7.6 years ago

    @Deloreandude Thank you for the feedback, I will look over more diagrams to try to make it more scale. It appears you are a fan of Hughes as well. Also, correct. Its rare to see an H1, especially one with great detail.

  • Eclipse and Houseboat 6.7 years ago

    @jamesPLANESii Oh. It looked like a helicopter from that perspective.

  • Eclipse and Houseboat 6.7 years ago

    @jamesPLANESii luckily I'm still following you. Is that a Robinson on your profile picture?

  • Eclipse and Houseboat 6.7 years ago

    @DemonSniper8 Noooo way. If I was doing that, I would spend much more time on it and make it out of something other than hot glue and foam.

  • Eclipse and Houseboat 6.7 years ago

    @DemonSniper8 I wanted something a decent size but still portable, so 4ft seemed ideal. You do know it's radio controlled, right?

  • Eclipse and Houseboat 6.7 years ago

    @saturn28 Thanks!

  • A moment of silence 6.8 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 Just on the bonanza, Cirrus had recently released their Vision Jet with a V tail.

  • A moment of silence 6.8 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 The FAA didn't allow the V tail, so at least the Bonanza is still here

  • A moment of silence 6.8 years ago

    @Fishbowl1121 Beechcraft made a new Bonanza with a conventional empennage.

  • A moment of silence 6.8 years ago

    @EternalDarkness I got my source from Wikipedia and a documentary long ago, turns out from a quick refresher that it was structural integrity, and not control lines snapping.

  • Float Plane from Trailer 6.8 years ago

  • Update! 6.9 years ago

    @jamesPLANESii A private company gave it to me. They're a charter/flight school business based in another city. I only wash the small stuff but I'm sure one of their jets will come in someday!

    @saturn28 could have been the Martin Mars as well, there are two of those flying today

  • Hughes H-4 Hercules (Spruce Goose) 6.9 years ago

    @saturn28 You may be thinking of the Boeing 314 Clipper, I don't recall anyone making a replica of one you sit in.

  • Hughes H-4 Hercules (Spruce Goose) 6.9 years ago

    @saturn28 Must've Ben something else. This only flew once in 1945 and has been decommissioned ever since.

  • Hughes H-4 Hercules (Spruce Goose) 6.9 years ago

  • Boeing 247 6.9 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx yes, I originally planned to use the PCA colors, but I thought it didn't suit its age well enough, so I left it blank.

  • Boeing 247 Livery 6.9 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx PCA it is then!

  • WWII Logo Help 6.9 years ago

    @Awsomur Ah, you'll just need to have it sticking out in a chunky way. It's not pretty, but it can be smoothed down

  • WWII Logo Help 6.9 years ago

    Which one in specific? I recently made a Mitsubishi Zero and its insignia on the fuselage was chunky and I had to live with it. But, with one such as Germany, theres a way around it.
