I went to totality! I brought my good camera so here are some of the best pictures.
Also, some of you wanted to see the houseboat I'm building. So, heres a couple snapshots.
It's 4 feet long and modeled after a Gibson 14 x 44. Going to be painted white with navy blue trim.
P.S. If you ever want to experience life, put a generous amount of hot glue straight from the gun on our finger. I did this today (by accident, I'm not an idiot) and ran around our backyard screaming. The problem with it is that you can't pull it off, or else it will just burn your other fingers. So endure the pain.

@DemonSniper8 I wanted something a decent size but still portable, so 4ft seemed ideal. You do know it's radio controlled, right?

It's cool that you're building a houseboat, but just out of curiosity, why is it only 4 feet long? That seems like a floating outhouse to me, but what do I know? lol
