    How come my landing gear for the F8F worked fine?
    Strange, never happens to me

  • Does anybody know how SP measurements compare to real life measurements? 7.8 years ago

    Pretty sure it's based on metres, but I'm not too sure. Just check how big a block (1x1x1) is and then scale via that.

  • How do I make a "highest rated" worthy build? 7.8 years ago

    Well, you can always upload less oftenly, you know, quality over quantity?

    Ugh, your absolutely too obsessed over upvotes. Play the game for fun, not for some counter on your build. Whether it's fair, well no, but life is never fair. @pavthepilot

    He has 84 followers, you have 35, he has a bigger audience that's all. @pavthepilot

  • Yak-1 Soviet hero 7.8 years ago

    They're not better nor worse because they're not the same.
    What your asking me to do is to tell me which ones a better, TV or pasta, two completely unrelated topics
    @pavthepilot

  • Yak-1 Soviet hero 7.8 years ago

    Well, you asked for it.
    I will now dissect your plane:
    1.) Defult cockpit is a no no. They just look bad, really easy to make a fusalage cockpit too, better shape ect.
    2.) Fusalage shape is clucky and wrong. The real fusalage follows back behind the cockpit (unless it's the Yak 1b), it's smooth too, unlike this. This shouldn't be hard to do, especially with being able to type sizes in.
    3.) Tail, it's just not good. Try to use fusalage to make a smoother vertical stab and horizontal stab, they really not very nice right now
    4.) Landing gear, it's not correct. WW2 planes have singular wheeled landing gear, with resizable wheels this shouldn't be hard. Plus with the parts transform tool, why didn't you nudge it into the wing so it looked connected. Also wheels are generally black not white.
    5.) The wings. While the shaping might be alright, I highly encourage you to expose the ailerons, I personally know of people who despise hidden ailerons.
    6.) Extras: Fusalage is generally too thin. Wings lack the correct dihedral. Proportions are a bit off.

    If you think that was harsh, I'm sorry, but whining wasn't gonna do anything so I gave to you straight up, no sugar coating.
    We all start bad, it's just how we go about getting better. Time is of the essence!

  • UI suggestion 7.8 years ago

    Would be great for fuel gauges, speedometers ect. Generally good for cockpits. Could also be useful for dynamic parts as well, such as low pressure (speed) slats, moving air intakes ect.

  • Yak-1 Soviet hero 7.8 years ago

    Well it seems like you care about the upvotes heh?
    Well @pavthepilot, do you want advice?

  • How do I make a "highest rated" worthy build? 7.8 years ago

    Time... simply time
    There's no cheap trick to it.

  • HOW DO I MAKE FLEXING WINGS?????? 7.8 years ago

    I think, you use rotators set to like 5° on floppy, and build each segment separately

  • A Bug with Typing Numbers Below 0.1 Into Fuselages 7.8 years ago

    It just makes the process longer, having it revert back to integers, think it's a bug

  • P 99 Bronco Papa 7.8 years ago

    This is a very nice build, however with some time and effort you could definitely clean up the fusalage a bit, making it smoother and more flush, unless you were aiming for that look. Love the cockpit by the way, shows what us iOS users can now accomplish.

    Good job getting featured, was about time they changed it around.

  • Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-4 7.8 years ago

    Just hang on there, no need to get so hasty. The wings are gonna bend, have fowler flaps and a realistic airfoil. I haven't even finished the cockpit yet, let alone the wings.

    Hmm, well currently it's like 2:1 scale, it's pretty ambitious. @BUZALIC

  • C-5 GALAXY 7.8 years ago

    Yeah but is this like 1:1 scale or 2:1 or something like that?
    @BUZALIC

  • C-5 GALAXY 7.8 years ago

    As much as I admire the fusalage shape, don't you think it's a bit big in general?

  • Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-4 7.8 years ago

    I noticed that during combat testing, yet forgot to fix it. Have you tried setting it to no collisions, I think it has something to do with the multiple pieces in the prop housing.
    @Zerokiller3

  • Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-4 7.8 years ago

    Thanks, there's a few things missing but that's was mainly due to keeping the part count reasonable.

  • Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-4 7.8 years ago

    As much as I'd love to, I generally don't do the same plane more than once or twice. I'm sure you can find a better version somewhere elsewhere. @AstonMartin145
