In SP, the larger anything is the more lag, even if it's one block- I remember making some skyscrapers to real scale, and it crashed my pc- so the solution I found to this was to completely disable drag.
Here's a tip to scale your aircraft to correct size:
-This 777 is too long (115m) for a 777-300ER
-The length of the 777-300ER is 76m (iirc)
-Although this is too long, it is still geometrically similar to a real Boeing 777-300ER
-Therefore, since we want to scale it down to 76m, we divide 76 by 115
-This should be approximately 0.66
-We then go into the designer and scale the whole aircraft by 0.66
