Could you make this concept with bombs too? I’m building a tank and need it to fire boom 25, boom 50, and C/F. It needs to have recoil for all and muzzle flash for all. Could you help please?
To much tech, like randomeusername said. You know how easy it would be for Russia to build a plane with an EMP to destroy the F-35? They could bring back biplanes to do that.
It was “designed” to be used by all US branches, and this was over 10 years ago. Not one branch has fully put it into service. Again comparing to Russia, they have their SU’s and MiGs, but they serve one, maybe two rolls and are great at it. The f-35 is supposed do all rolls, but it struggles at literally everything.
The F-18, F-15, or even the C-130 is better. They all do their jobs, and do them very well. But you would never send a C-130 into a dogfight, so that’s why we have F-18’s, just one example
Hover technology is practically useless. There, I said it. How hard is it to build a mile or two of runway? The Russians have their SU-27 (or one of the SU’s) that have intakes that close up to prevent debris entering the engine. Genius; probably costs $10,000 extra, and us usefull. The F-35, stupid; Large, multi million tilting engine, (that has many problems) more millions of dollars for the HELMET to “see” through the plane. BS. Works or not, to much money. What if the plane loses electricity? What if the sensors get damaged, etc. Land like a normal plane! And besides, your not gonna hover in a fight.
Useless in many rolls, which it was designed to cover. Russia could just scan the sky for electric current, so stealth would be questionable. SAR (Search and Rescue) HOW? You can’t land a plane next to a sinking ship and carry dying passengers on a fighter jet.
And like I said, now it’s in billons, but the cost of its 55 service lifetime (more BS) will cost somewhere around 1.5 trillion. No. No no no no no. NOOOOO. When I grow up to pay taxes, I’m not giving the government half my paycheck so they can maybe build a fighter.

Yeah, you could look at it that way. I classify a tail dragger as a plane with a single wheel on the tail, like a piper cub. I classify a trike as a plane with 2 rear wheels and 1 nose wheel, like a Cessna 172. @Chancey21
