Hi! I would like to save this plane so my sandbox AI can fly it. I tried fixing some kinks and made the plane according to my standards. you can download it here
Drag and drop the sub-assembly at the top left corner of the screen.
Dont use parts with VTOL inputs. Same with Trim controls. Wing slabs with pitch control surfaces usually have Trim enabled by default, just turn them off

and If you can reduce the wing count to just 7 wings max, I would happily save this plane in my sandbox so AI can fly them (tip: structural panels does not count into the wing limit)
@DavstrWrexham It flies really well.. The AI could land the plane without much problem.. There was one time where it was shot down by the escort destroyers but that was because it flew very close over them
at last.. a c130 that has less than 150 parts.. with some modifications I would be able to make this plane AI friendly so it could fly in my sandbox.. thank you!
I have not tested this, but... put wings on the front and the back of the car and rotate them slightly downwards by doing some xml modding or using HellFireKoder's Fine Tuner mod.. It should theoretically force your car downwards as you would want it

if that fails, put more deadweight at the bottom of the car so its CoM is at the lowest possible place, this would increase the force required to blow the car away from the tracks but it would also decrease its performance
its a bug.. it probably got smaller because the devs fixed the issue or some particle effects not scaling properly when the part is resized with scale="x,x,x"
sometimes I forget how simple planes in SP can be and still flies great. Thank you!

With some modifications and a new paint job, I was able to make a better version of this plane. It will forever be saved in my laptop as one of the planes flown by the AI
probably, since we can collide at him it is also possible to land on top of him. I would imagine you will be "hovering" a few meters above him instead because Cthulhu has a large collision box. Plus, he constantly moves around so you wont be landing there for a very long time
just save it in your device??

do you need to find all your plane files? Its been a long time since I've installed SP on android but I think the plane files is found in Android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes (or something similar)/AircraftDesigns.
@NathanMikeska I downloaded the new patch and found a bug which lets me target planes outside of the targeting circle when they are very close to my plane.
edit: Here using guardian missile and Here using inferno missile
you can! You will have to edit the XML entry of the beacon light in question!. in there, look for input="None" and change its value to input="Pitch"

as proof take a look at my loader, it has working brake lights and levers are lit when you move them.

Me and others have been chatting with the devs in SP's Reddit page and is some occasions one of the devs would describe how parts gets damaged and explode. My explanation is somewhat simplified but the core idea is the same as how the devs implemented it in the game
Each parts has some sort of Health points.. When you hit the ground, health points decrease. When the it decrease to a certain level the part breaks off. When it fully depletes the part explode. When the parts explode it inflicts a good amount of damage in surrounding blocks. If surrounding blocks explode too, a chain reaction occurs and the plane disintegrate.
@jamer57108 sorry for the late reply, of course you can! You dont even need to request permission as long as you give credit or make you plane show up as successor.

@ISA03 I'll try.. This plane is just accidentally AI friendly because I did not expect rotating the wings instead of using control surfaces works really well. If I ever make another "plane" I'll make sure it could complete atleast one race when AI controlled.

@MoterKade You can do that if you want to control you car manually. but (for now) your AI opponent does not know how to brake/reverse or even use yaw for steering.

Hopefully, the devs will add a real car race that could handle cars good enough because we now have 3 tracks to race our vehicles

great! i could actually fly this thing but I could not land it properly because the engines doesnt slow down fast enough. Still an amazing design

this plane has a long line of ancestors.. and good thing you didnt simply copy.. you actually modified it until you arrived in this iteration.

@SM1314 yeah, it will make the glider more stable.
you should put a stabilizer at the tail of the glider

You need to add them yourself. Here is a good info on how to add them
