@Chancey21 I cant help you, in the tournament there was not. My advice is to publish it anyway as an entry, it will be interesting to see and in the worst case you will make a second without that system.
@Chancey21 The father of this is the winner of the ONLY glider tournament ever made by jundroo, and I asked to put it as "Propulsion method", but AndrewGarrison let this be legal. :) So I winned, and this, at least for Jundroo, is not a propulsion method but a high tech glider.
This mod is awesome, but if I can give a suggestion, some engine parameter can be interesting if added, especially for propellers one. Like the prop pitch, the eventual overspeed and similar. Better if divided engine by engine (like the wheels for the cars engine... "assign engine")
@atgxtg You can cut orizontal thrust, then give some brutal pitch up using the vertical jets as brakes. It's the same thing that helicopters does (and is how I brake with this).
@atgxtg If you give enought thrust on main engines, and give some degrees nose up, you fly like a missile flies, for sure. :) But if you try to fly slowly, like 10% thrust... you cant avoid the vertical lifter.
46 upvotes in 36 hours. Thanks guys, I'm proud of this little work. I think it is the most upvoted creation I ever made. Way more than the "featured" one. :D
@WNP78 I can understand your point, but this is the off topic specific section of forum, "not relevant for simpleplanes"... I think it can be ok, but lets leave the words to the mods. :) We arent, is not our job to moderate or approve.
@ChiChiWerx Yes, cargo pod do not change COM (it has a total mass of 0) but change the drag. Whitout it the drag and the thrust forward are no longer alligned, and a overthrow torque born. This problem is more visible if the speed is high. If you keep the main engine at 25% is barely noticeable.
The phisic engine of this game is awesome, a simplest one will not have those "problems" (but I love to deal with them)
@ChiChiWerx Just made a quick test, yes, no mistery. Without vertical thrust it does not flies, unless you are a 100% orizontal thrust and balance the nose up like a missile. But it's instable and hard to keep at stable altitude. Try to go 30% speed, and cut vertical thrust... and enjoy your rock like fall. :D
BTW it float with no floating blocks or bouyance in any part. ;) Miracles of mass remover.
@ChiChiWerx If you have some degree nose up position, the vertical vector is enough, because many, many pieces are at 0 mass. But usually if you cut the vertical thrust you can see after some second the altitude start to drop
Very few modification from mine. I'm working at the complete replica, but the original version of this worth about 25 hours of work... plus 3 minuts for the modification.

Sadly I cant spotlight this, cause your score is higger than mine, but I love this.
AWESOME!
@AndrewGarrison
@IzzyIA yes, but after few second from ejection you can listen "SPLATCH - Oooogh" and is nothing good.
@AndrewGarrison Waiting SR2 I'm training myself in remote planet landing. :P
Really nice...
In fact it flies, but my sofa certainly flies better.
@LiamW :) I'm happy you like it.

@Pilotmario thanks for the spotlight :)
copy... :(
@LiamW as i wrote in user manual, the gyro must be disabled for normal flight 😊
@LiamW :D
@Pianoman Thanks lot! :D
@atgxtg I'm happy to hear this. :D

@atgxtg Mmmm.... this is a nice idea. I keep it for the next version. Thanks

@Dimkal I really like if you would try my helicopter and give me your judgment. Thanks.
@DestinyAviation thanks for spotlight my creation, I apreciate it. :)

@Potato21 Thanks. I'm happy you enjoyed them.
Do you like helicopters?
Try this: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/d2HHIM/SNAW-H-03-War-Horse
and this: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/Bca0Or/SNAW-HGA-01
This is not an Helicopter, but I think you will like the jet-sustentation: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/XxxKHc/SPACE-1999-Eagle-Transporter
and this jet sustentation little pod: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/9mbO5i/Exo-Ant
@AngelAirCompany xml modded parts (fuel, mass, drag..) or weapons.
@Awsomur This is the right spirit! I hope in the next tournament we will spectate and chat togeter.
@Awsomur And maybe will be a car tournament... :D

@Blue0Bull thanks for spotlight my Eagle :)
@atgxtg Mmmh... good idea. I think I will do.
@atgxtg BTW yes, with minor damaging is relatively easy. I did it with no damage at (i think) 3rd attempt.
@atgxtg does nothing, because I wanted to made it compatible with IA, and IA do not manuver VTOL and (bad thing) center it if activated.
@atgxtg :D Yes! (on the USS Beast too.. not easy, but possible in few attempt)
@Caveman999 Thanks lot, mate.
@Caveman999 I tried to refresh the description, but I can't imagine why I can see all the png and they do not being shown to you.
@Caveman999 The image are .png and I see them... O.o'
Try to hit F5
@Caveman999 Try to refresh page... I see them.
@AndrewGarrison this appened because YOU make me mad waiting SP2... :D
@Hypakiller123 Thanks
@JohnnyBoythePilot @Delphinos Thanks
@hopotumon @AndrewGarrison thanks
Oh! I turned platinum with this tournament! :D
@JohnnyBoythePilot Thanks lot.

@Tully2001 Thanks lot, I missed this colors mod, and it's awesome. I downloaded it and I will "abuse" it in every future built. :D
@beastpilot124 And this is a bad news, because if your plane fail in your tests, you can't be sure that will fail in the tournaments. :(
