Mmmmmmm
Pros:
-I really like the modeling
-Really feels like I'm flying an A340
-One of, if not the best planes of yours so far
-The cockpit interior is fantastic
-Love the detailing
-Very accurate to the real plane
Cons:
-The tug is inconvenient for SP
-Exploded on my first load-up, but worked in the second, might just be me
-Reversers are done lazily
-Window frames don't go smoothly with the fuselage modeling
-NAV and strobe lights are done wrong, and the other lights aren't edited to what they should be
-Trim is inadequate at keeping the nose up, even at full
-Rudder and v. stabilizer are made lazily
-The flaps have a seam line, but the A340 has single slotted flaps without any seam
-Too many cameras to go through
-STILL DOESN'T HAVE PROPER LANDING GEAR SUSPENSION
-I can't butter the bread without smacking the aft or clocking 220 on the richter scale
Minor Details:
-Flaps extend too quickly
-Winglets are too big and angled too high
-Flap tracks are done lazily
-Interior is colored the same as the fuselage, should be darker on the inside
-Nose cone doesn't line up well with the paneling
the only "livery editor" ive experienced is blender's texture paint tab and i wonder if sp2 will have something similar where you have to unwrap the entire surface area of the build onto a flat plane for texturing (unwrapping is the process of mapping where faces on a 3d mesh get mapped on a 2d grid to apply some area of the texture to it)
as far as weve seen the texturing in sp2 is rasterized. not sure if we will be able to export/import image files to edit or have control over the resolution etc. the mesh will have to be unwrapped in some way whether itll be a manual process or automatic which then probably would require some complex scripting on the devs' side
Ah Yes The SimplePlanes Content We"ve All Wanted This Entire Whole Time
+4the absolute state of sp.com when someone shares an opinion lol
+4ppl are getting so mad and its hilarious
+4pretty sure the red path happens irl with more modern missiles, trailing is kinda energy inefficient and thats what sa-2s do and theyre pretty crap
+4i dont think most of the community was born before then
+4@RandomUser09 silence you tiny man
+4wowww thats crazy broo

+4get a points tax the dirty dirty devs and mods being spoonfed points from point taxes oh the dystopia of sp.com
all ive seen from spfc are a bunch of 13 year olds arguing over nothing lol
+4yee ha dude

+4Boy needs sleep
@JohnnyBoythePilot I'm just that cool of a cool kid to not die
+4That would be a very fun mechanic, could lead to some cool stuff being made
+4It happens from time to time, I don't know how
+4step 1: buy it
+4step 2: profit

Well, I like it, but it needs a lot of work.
+4YA'LL
+4'Tis but a scratch!
+4when you post the tutorial plane
+4So does it go from origami to wreckage I don't get the last one
+4that need to be deleted more like
+4@chancey21 oh there's more than two, you just don't see them
+4Also 9gag and lefunny. Get some real memes, not with watermarks
I wish it was the one with the spongebob pants
+4post slop builds on the daily
+3@ccc12345 never in the previous 2 years of making this did I have any issue with the connections so it must be a thing with your game/device
+3bacon in oven and scramble 3 eggs, as an added bonus you could make skillet butter toast and make a samdwich
+3no it was not 💀
+3gran turismo jazz, some ambient works by aphex twin, windows96, also space 1.8 & endlessness by nala sinephro
then when i lock in i listen to ultrakill
+3stop tagging me you literally did it twice on this build
+3the FEMOID!!! an extremely rare creature amongst the simpleplanes.........
+3slop ahh game ultrakill better (im sure mr is fun though)
+3@LunarEclipseSP mine but it is an update to the mod that is not yet out (likely 3-4 months away from now)
+3finally legal
+350/50 cut, brutalizing fuselage blocks into extremely strange shapes with cutting and also old paneling techniques combined with fuselage cutting
+3good lord optimize your mod YIKES (pretty cool though)
