Birds are an amazing shout, if they do a minimap I reckon it'll be a "screen" part or something like that, im slightly worried they might not add stuff like that because people managed to make it with normal stuff though. The Ai needs a uniform improvement too
back like 8 years ago when I used to watch jelly, i distinctly remember being down a sandbox rabbit hole, scrap mechanic, ksp, sp and i chose simple planes, no regrets
reflections realtime, everything else low, unless Im taking a picture, physics settings change how things work a bunch sometimes, same with slow motion, so for the sake of consistency i keep it low 99% of the time
@Mahoots I get it, I played loads around 2019/2020, it was my favourite thing for months, then I just got bored, I kept tryna push out builds, but most of them were kinda flops. I then stopped posting except for like maybe once or twice a year, but as of late I just feel like it again and here i am. If you want to build, build, if you dont feel like it, dont stress, take some time away, and ill probably see you again when sp2 is released. I find it best not to constrain yourself, dont make this game a chore :)
@L1nus fair, i mean i havent really had the issue much myself so i cant comment too much, but i can imagine it sucks, it takes like 2 seconds to credit, although if someone is like completely new, i can understand the erroneous lack of credit, as a new player I used to steal XML stuff all the time because mobile couldn't make it, and i regrettably never credited
@StinkyRice fair enough, in that case, its still best to try not to overwork the joints, but I cant really help with the engines, and my gyro knowledge is ok, but not the best
Also if you can, as a quick rule of thumb the larger the build the lower parts it should be (to save your computer and to an extent the build) helps iron out some of the physics engine kinks
Larger dampening scale + mass scale on rotators helps them be less springy, also when making larger walkers weight can be really really messy and can cause the walker to blow up so make sure the actual weight isn’t too large, also use a fine-tuned gyroscope for balance when walking
honestly same, I love nothing more than my like weeks long 'testing' phase where I just use the vehicle for ages and occasionally spot errors of some sort
Sliders, like physical VR capable versions of the vtol and trim sliders, like the fighter yoke thing but better, and sensors, like being able to find rate of turn at points of the plane or strain on rotator joints for example. I crave the sliding parts
imo the lack of detail of pieces is actually a good thing from sp, allows you to model your own stuff from scratch, also I know the fixed it but in sr2 the rotational symmetry mirroring was insanely annoying
@L1nus yeah, fair, i wasnt really invested icl, I upvoted on the off chance I was wrong, i feel like atm, theres more dying/death/drama stories rn, i miss 2020 lol
@Grob0s0VBRa holy thats dope, i respect the funky trees magic stuff, although i should warn you that im really behind on mahoraga, due to coursework and exams for uni

+1@winterro YES, and like a better magnet, which I will dub an attacher, that acc fixes things together rigidly
+1lol
+1Fair enough, come back when you wanna build again, or for sp2
+1HOLY THIS IS COOL, i tried something like this w zero success years ago, this is insane
+1niceeeee
+1Wobuffet
+1what phone are you using, this said, i personally didnt have huge issues using overload on ios
+1good job
+1back like 8 years ago when I used to watch jelly, i distinctly remember being down a sandbox rabbit hole, scrap mechanic, ksp, sp and i chose simple planes, no regrets
+1You built the woman, touche

+1I feel that, second year of my degree and I thought Id come back, glad to hear youre doing well
+1depending on the phone yeah, i upgraded Iphone a while back and it kept all the planes for once

+1people have done it in the past, namely jamesiiplanes. it comes with all the normal risks of a face reveal.
+1I believe that the only place you can have funky inputs, (normally) is through inputs, hence bomb delay Is not changeable I think.
+1@LunarEclipseSP lol, I dont think ive ever seen someone do that before, and I was friends with jim the squid
+1Im sat on runways testing moving joints or smth then bam, like an orbital strike the ai obliterates me and itself
+1@L1nus fair, i mean i havent really had the issue much myself so i cant comment too much, but i can imagine it sucks, it takes like 2 seconds to credit, although if someone is like completely new, i can understand the erroneous lack of credit, as a new player I used to steal XML stuff all the time because mobile couldn't make it, and i regrettably never credited

+1@MosquitowithaMachineGun I won’t make it at this rate lol, ty regardless
+1Thanks! @MosquitowithaMachineGun
+1honestly same, I love nothing more than my like weeks long 'testing' phase where I just use the vehicle for ages and occasionally spot errors of some sort
+1Yeah i did a spring cleaning, where I mass-uploaded them if they were ok, like may as well
+1jesus, thank god the DSI isnt
+1Tumblr works, steam works
+1Sliders, like physical VR capable versions of the vtol and trim sliders, like the fighter yoke thing but better, and sensors, like being able to find rate of turn at points of the plane or strain on rotator joints for example. I crave the sliding parts
+1considering theres no date at all, id guess like late 2025
+1@Kangy ty mate, making my life easy
+1@Kangy my late submission, although im aware it prob wont count, being unrealistic and all
+1@DustTillDawn all i can say is run with it. its worth a shot
+1add the models tag! great work
+1I am v guilty of leaving and reappearing too much lol
+1noo come back
+1or the old races there used to be, and i guess stuff where there is little source material
+1@Rb2h damn your fast
+1imo the lack of detail of pieces is actually a good thing from sp, allows you to model your own stuff from scratch, also I know the fixed it but in sr2 the rotational symmetry mirroring was insanely annoying

+1i mean 61kg/m^3 is pretty close to powdered carbon apparently
+1@Grob0s0VBRa holy thats dope, i respect the funky trees magic stuff, although i should warn you that im really behind on mahoraga, due to coursework and exams for uni
+1simple periscope = rotator + cam on piston, should remain VR capable
+1congrats
+1@livingstone tag me when its done please
+1looks great, does it walk?
+1@Strucker hell yeah, if you do keep me posted
+1@Strucker fair, i just think itd be cool to see a miraidon bike, I might make one one day in the far far future
+1
