@Grobholy thats insanely cool, but what I will say is when I say a sensor, I mean something that has its own velocity, accel, position, etc etc etc, or also i mean something which determines the gradient of the terrain below the vehicle would be insanely useful
I gave it a shot, and basically it isnt too bad, but I cant figure out how to find the time taken for something to happen between two random points after level load A and B. if i could the pitch one would be easy enough. However I recommend using a PID as an input for pitch and in short you have to tweak x,y,z to your liking, but clamp(PID(TargetAltitude,altitude,x,y,z),-1,1)/90 should work, this said, I dont really use this on my builds
uh, i mean this all depends on how the engine is on the plane, if the engine is straight down its easier, then clamp01(Altitude-TargetAltitude) or if you wanna use something more complicated look at the guide for PID's Pids are made for this stuff, if the engine is horizontal, then you need to look at the pitch, im just gonna do some maths and try and see if i can help ig
@Zero0Two2 I mean yeah, sorta, AI was cool when it was brand new, but nower-days its pretty easy to point out, and worse, it always sounds pretty same-y. Its nice to see people here taking the time for their own craft descriptions
Ai is just guessing at patterns which are too complex for it, its images are usually disjointed and contain loads of incorrect visual artifacts from the large to the small. Its been implemented too early and its poisoning its own data supply.
although I should note that zeroondeactivate will need to be turned on, also you cant really code much with the activation groups, so its best to do it in the inputs, you can still have it throttle controlled by multiplying the input by clamp01(Activate1) hence it turns off completely when the activation group is off, otherwise it is the throttle
@Graingy Brother don't stress i've been using this website for 8 years and i'm not even platinum. Also I literally haven't used funky-trees until basically this year. I just happen to be in more maths-adjacent studies right now, so it feels like a bit of fun to learn about stuff like funky-trees and how to get stuff to walk
I dont like building over-detailed replicas because i find the process dull, and I cant be asked to do the magic funky stuff that some people do. This is at the end of the day, a game, and I value fun over all other qualities of a build, I'd rather see a 10 part helicopter that handles like a car than a 10000 part-realistic build with 100 upvotes.
@Graingy ty, i mean i was proud of the main body. but still, have some pride in your work, not everything needs to be insane, ur work is fun and thats honestly my fav thing on this site
I mean, dont get me wrong the situation occurring irl is awful, but on a plane site, a vast amount of these killing machines were used to commit heinous acts. The fact they bear an insignia from a country or group whether or not they were 'good' or 'bad' does not change the fact that most planes were used to kill anyway. To ban a country or group would just sort of defeat half of the point of uploading military planes anyway
rip, enjoy the holidays
@DustTillDawn just a heads up with the flying cam you can just increase the y-offset of the camera and keep the cam hidden
I mean, in theory you can do all of this by building each parts in any form of distribution system.
Although I do think this type, not exact, idea should be used for new mission stuff

@YarisSedan 3ft tall is impressive
@YarisSedan so somewhere between 3-7 ft tall?
but also ill throw out @Awsomur, and there were a few people who are no longer active who could defo deserve an award, but they arent active so yk
@ComradeSandman ah easier to figure out who this account is than i expected lol
A honda civic

@Dragoranos yeah, in the first paragraph
Yeah the cockpit has all the sensing, so in short without your cockpit most funky-trees break down
i looked at your bio and google instantly stopped responding. how about the first 3 digits of pi, its basically the same thing
@MrWriteMonday idk, i dont think you can
@Zero0Two2 I mean yeah, sorta, AI was cool when it was brand new, but nower-days its pretty easy to point out, and worse, it always sounds pretty same-y. Its nice to see people here taking the time for their own craft descriptions
@Zero0Two2 They just sound bland, and over-corporate

Don't use it if you can help it
@ZemiGG glad to hear that!

@Graingy Im aware, but as someone english, i can eat raw cookie dough, the pros outweigh the cons
or move the actual wings until they work, make them really tiny, and add structural wings for the looks
decrease lift from wings?
@Graingy try raw cookie dough and come back to me, youll understand
@Graingy If i must die a matyr so be it
@Graingy if it’s the price I pay for the ability to eat raw cookie dough then I understand
make ur own backgrounds, AI always gets mid results
@Dissent3R yes
@BARREND you could always try tumblr, or using the hyperlink from privately published Steam screenshots
This is cool, be careful of excess weight/tension, also with higher part counts the physics and stuff can get buggy
@Graingy Cookie dough is safe, and god is it good
This is so fun icl, amazing build
Palmeritas biscuits, or custard creams
@Graingy depends on the country
@Graingy nah

Take Pride in your work its fun

Wait till you hear about 5 guns
@Graingy like one of my favourite builds to date is this
@Graingy that thing doesnt walk at all, it usually blows up under its own weight
@Graingy not the point, my best builds were 5 minutes thrown together and bad, but theyre fun
@Graingy GMCL-250D Moving Bridge Crane and simple paints are my favs

@Graingy nah ur cool <3
@ShinyGemsBro honestly close enough
@ShinyGemsBro like glowsticks
wow thanks for all the support on this ancient build everyone
@overlord5453 welllll............ i am your guy, 'cough' 'cough' (those links are my half baked explanations)
@Monarchii oh wow lol, small world
im excited to see this
