It's not bad either, but it's a little bit like a barrel. Almost all planes have a slightly tapered shape around the edges. Look at the cross section of my newer planes. They are always tapered.
Try building a replica from the blueprints. A simple airplane of some kind. And then try to build your own plane, but with a similar shape. I don't know about the others, but my planes are noticeably better after that.
