@Ephwurd I understand this is frustrating, but unfortunately, the way the game is designed it won't be possible for us to do this. Rotators use physics joints to rotate, and there is no physics enabled in the designer.
@EternalDarkness I wish! XD...That's one of the nice things about working on SR2 so far is fixing a lot of technical debt we took on with SimplePlanes, but not having to worry about breaking hundreds of thousands of players' builds.
@jamesPLANESii whoops! Thanks for letting me know. Looks like I didn't have a limit on parts setup correctly. There have been several submissions that are above the 150 part count. Instead of kicking those submissions out or restarting the tournament, I'm increasing the part count to 500. This might be interesting...
Sorry to hear you are having some trouble with the game. This is the first I've heard of this. I need some more info: What device are you using? What is the exact version of the Android OS? What mods are erroring? What errors do they give?
I'm sorry for the late start everyone. I accidentally put the start time as 2AM UTC instead of 2PM UTC....I didn't realize my mistake until I woke up this morning.

I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find pirated copies of SimplePlanes. Just beware that it most likely will have adware/malware embedded in it by the pirates. That's a great way to wreck your device and also compromise the security of your system. I wouldn't want to login to my accounts on a computer that had malware running on it, because they could easily steal your login info as you're typing it.
@alexchub1 XML modding is allowed on some parts, but you need to be very careful. I would recommend getting the tournament validator mod so you can check your work and make sure you're not violating any rules.

I believe our limit for uploading a mod is 20MB, so the mod is too large. You'll need to upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox and then just use a link on your mod post.
Is your computer low on hard drive space? It could also be a permission problem if the game will not allow you to save. What is your OS and where did you purchase SimplePlanes?
Just ran a validation check on everyone's designs. If you did not receive a notification then your currently submitted design has passed validation. No news is good news.
Yep, there was an issue with the website where the jobs weren't running to update things like publishing posts, etc, but things should be working now. Thanks for letting us know.
@Chancey21 Thanks for the spotlight! XD
Congrats on winning the tournament!
@Jetpackturtle Actually, early access will only have Sandbox mode. Career mode will come later.
Looks like it's sorted by votes and not by date. Is that what you mean?
Eliminated for copying.
@Chancey21 @MyMessage Can you provide some links to the copies?
@ddweck32 You bet. I just started a new tournament.
@danman12 Unfortunately modding is not supported on iOS. It's against Apple's terms of use.

@destroyerP Absolutely. Well, maybe not next time, but some future tournament. Just noticed your profile is upside down, lol. Very tricky.
@JoddyFubuki788 Okay, thanks for letting us know.

@Jengstrom No, you won't lose any points.
@Hectord27 Unfortunately, anything posted with variations or misspellings of Honda Jet will be removed.
Congrats, @jamesPLANESii! That is awesome!
Your airplane has been removed because it potentially infringes Honda’s trademark and trade dress rights. I'm really very sorry for the inconvenience.

@chancey21 If the validation check doesn't catch it then it's on me.

@Thederpingmemes yep, you can mod health.
@Phantom1 sure, but only one person can submit it and get all of those sweet internet points.

@Adiarka454 countermeasures are fine.
@LimitedShelf568 yep, we can't really stop that from happening, so you can do it.
@Planefun Yes

What is the file size of your mod?
It was live streamed and also recorded. You can click on any match in the Tournament Bracket and watch the recording.
hmm, maybe a cloud sync issue with Steam? Maybe try turning off cloud sync with Steam?

@SledDriver I'm glad to hear that. XML modding will be available in SR2. In fact, we've been able to improve it so it should be even more flexible.
@EarthwormJim I'm sorry, but I really don't have the time to run those tests.
Assuming you are on PC, you can find them here:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns
@Gravity Auto-credit only works for one design. If a design uses parts from multiple designs, it won't show them all.
@Patrick20206 I think that's a violation....not 100% sure, it's been a while since I looked in the code...
@chancey21 You can xml mod some aspects, but best to get the tournament validator mod and double check before submitting.
@TheBoeingEngineer yep :)
Try forcing SimplePlanes to run with D3D9. Instructions are here.
Yep, there was an issue with the website where the jobs weren't running to update things like publishing posts, etc, but things should be working now. Thanks for letting us know.
@Hayhayjam664 Yep, we had an issue with the job processing on the website so things are a bit out of whack, but should be okay now.
@rubbishcraft I'm working on it. Should be fixed soon.
