@iiRazor @drdoom222 So are you saying that if you save the airplane first, and then click play to fly, it does work? It only crashes when you try to fly prior to saving the downloaded airplane?
@TheNightmare When someone mentions me on a build, I typically am less likely to upvote and far, far less likely to consider it for a feature. You mentioned me 4 times.
Your post has been removed. Please read these rules about posting planes.
Please try to make major changes to a plane before posting it. Simply painting an object a different color, or adding a few guns is not enough to consider it your own. In the future please credit the original maker, and try to post your own work.
We recommend tagging the YouTuber using the tag system (click the grey "Edit Tags" button), as it makes it much easier for YouTubers to find your plane!

@GluonicGaming this is a cool idea, however requesting personally identifiable information on the site is against the rules. However, maybe we can find a way to help make the transaction happen without users trading PII.
@ddweck32 and @CanofBeans congrats! Now let's work on getting you a 3D printed airplane! First thing I need you to do is confirm your email account by going to the manage account page. After you do that, contact us via the contact link at the bottom of the page with a link to the airplane you want to 3D print and we will go from there. Take as much time as you need to make your selection. There is no hurry!
@Generalkeath but seriously, just be careful when building planes for tournaments. Don't use parts from planes you find on SimplePlanes.com. Make sure you use stock parts pulled straight out from the part list. Also make sure you read the rules carefully.
@BaconEggs Try putting a mass scale of 5-10 on the hinge rotator in XML. It's a common problem in physics engines when you have high mass objects connected to low mass objects. If you scale up the mass of the hinge rotator, it may behave a little less erratically.
@Exumer PC is a different story. You can't just re-install to fix the issue on Windows. You will need to find your sub assemblies directory and delete it. Can you find your files here?
@Exumer It looks like you are using the iOS version. The iOS App Store remembers all of your purchases, so you can just delete the app and go bak to the App Store and re-download. Just make sure you are logged into the app store with the same account you used to purchase.
This is so cool. Love your work, @BoxGlow.
@GluonicGaming the contact link at the very bottom of the page (in the footer).

Beautiful plane! I regret to admit that I crashed it so hard that it crashed SimplePlanes.
@GluonicGaming Contact us with the contact link below and we can figure this out.
Your device may not be able to handle some of the larger designs. However, there are some things you can try that may help. Try these:
@iiRazor @drdoom222
@MasterManufacturingCo let's keep things friendly.
Not currently, though we have had a lot of people ask for that.
@TheNightmare When someone mentions me on a build, I typically am less likely to upvote and far, far less likely to consider it for a feature. You mentioned me 4 times.
@TheNightmare It's a nice build. But please stop abusing the mention (@) system.
@dogspit Unfortunately there are no plans to make a mobile version of the website. That would be an enormous effort.

@kikasshes your codes should still be good. Contact us with the contact link below if you need help.

I suspect this will be the build that gets you gold. Nice work, absolutely amazing attention to detail.
@HackingAnonymous Please contact us via the contact link at the bottom of the page.
Did you get a Steam key from a 3rd party website? If so, where? It's possible the key was de-authorized.
I think this is it.
@Tully2001 Yes, we will do more giveaways in the future, but not every time.

@Generalkeath Well the universe we all live in says otherwise.
@Generalkeath You were using a modded engine. Look at the XML that I just grabbed out of your plane for its prop engine:
That little max="10" increases the power of the prop engine by a factor of 10, which is a whole lotta cheat.
Looks like I'm up against you in the first round! I feel that my chances of winning are rather slim.
@NAviation Why did you scale the wings to be nearly flat?
@NAviation I don't know. I looked at the XML and it appears to be fine, so I've manually approved it.
This plane failed validation. I thought you were going to submit the predecessor. That's the one that passed validation.
should be starting soon...
I re-approved the build. It looks very similar to the predecessor but there's more to it than meets the eye. Over 60 parts have been added.
Can you pastebin your XML code and send me the link?
@BaconEggs Let me see your hinge rotator XML.
@BaconEggs Try putting a mass scale of 5-10 on the hinge rotator in XML. It's a common problem in physics engines when you have high mass objects connected to low mass objects. If you scale up the mass of the hinge rotator, it may behave a little less erratically.
@NAviation I think you are okay. I ran the qualification check again and it didn't find any problems with this airplane. You are good to go.
@Djbanana and @GregMonk nevermind. I was mistaken. I believe your submissions are okay.
Try forcing D3D9. Here are instructions on how to do that
what device are you using? also what are you quality settings?
@IMadeThisAccountForThisPostAndNothingElse dude....
@FlyingNarwhal Copy the contents of the file and paste it into the message.
You can also send us the log file via the contact link at the bottom of the page.
After you encounter the issue again, can you send me your player log file? You can find it here:
You can share it with me by putting it on pastebin.com and posting the link here in a comment.
@Exumer Can you list the contents of that directory here? Or take a screenshot of Windows explorer so I can see what you're up against.
@Mod I suppose you could pass your prize onto someone else.
@MechWARRIOR57 the tournament is using meters.
@Exumer PC is a different story. You can't just re-install to fix the issue on Windows. You will need to find your sub assemblies directory and delete it. Can you find your files here?
If you can find your subassembly directory there you can delete it (or rename it) to remove all of your subassemblies from the game.

You can try re-installing the game. Just make sure you upload all your planes before you do it.
@Stickman No limit on parts or size, but the bigger your plane is, the more they will need to scale it down to fit within the 4" or 8" size.
