@aTerra that’s SimplePlanes for you. If we had a part that could stretch and bend like fabric or some other moveable cloth-based material, I’d definitely use it for this so there wouldn’t be that weird gap.
@aTerra the turning is supposed to simulate how a dragon would actually “roll” like a plane would; they tuck their wings in, much like predatory bird does when diving, so they have less drag that prevents them from spinning.
@ledownloader123 no it’s there, SP is just being a tard for some reason and not loading it properly, same thing for me. Just search it up on google if youre so inclined.
@Hedero yes but I’ve already posted it, this post here is just for convenience purposes. Idk, I just don’t want to look like I’m tryna point-farm or something.
While watching the cicadas, a 787 happened to fly overhead. Check the YouTube video’s description for more information, I just wanted to put this here cause why not
Words of advice: Use math to help make odd-sided shapes in SimplePlanes, it will be so much easier than just trying to eyeball it like I did the first time. All you gotta do is search up the side angle of a Pentagon, or whatever shape you’re using, and use that for rotation values on the base of the Gatling Gun. Rotate the base, mirror the barrel to the other side, apply another dosage of rotation to the base, and keep mirroring until you have the desired results. Math makes everything easier! And ironically enough, I’m actually learning about this stuff in school atm, as I take a Geometry Class.
@NameLessCreature highest rated is most upvotes in a given amount of time. For instance, highest rated of today would be the most upvoted post in the last 24hrs, whereas highest rated of all time would be the most upvoted posts that have ever been uploaded in the history of SimplePlanes, in order of highest to lowest.

@Alfredali1382 ok but what do you want the flight model to be like? I’m gonna fix it, do you want it to be fast and nimble, slower and less maneuverable?
Everything we touch, including the air we breath and the ground we walk on, is technically a fluid! It’s just that with something like a “solid” object, the fluid’s viscosity is much higher, so high that it doesn’t move when most objects touch it at relatively normal speeds. Whereas with gases, they are liquids that are of an extremely low viscosity, so low that anything can pass through it with little to no force at all, and it’s density is next to nothing compared to almost every other fluid.
