@Gameboi14 well, I don't have and devices that allow mod installation, but it's pretty simple: simply download the mod, and choose what image you want to be in the designer. Then, when taking a thumbnail, move the camera so that the plane itself is out of the way, and you can only see the picture you used for the designer. That way, you can make nice custom images for your posts, like this!
@Tarquez Yeah, it's brand new, so it still runs about 20Gs of free space, so that's a lot of processing power that SimplePlanes can take advantage of, and allow higher part counts!
@Gameboi14 probably the designer suite mod, it allows you to change the looks of the designer, and if used correctly, can be used to get cool screenshot thumbnails like that!
@Tarquez it's an iPhone 7+, it has 32Gs and can handle, what is my record so far, 2,100+ parts! I can play with this with some lag on Low Physics, but that's honestly way better than anything else any of my other devices could handle!
How does this streamlined beast have 55,714 drag points? SP is weird. Otherwise, really amazing build, like always! I like that anecdote of a SledDriver's flight experience, really kinda lets you get to know what it's like actually flying the Blackbird!
@Viper3000ad it's actually one of the only places around where I live that you can do this. I forgot to mention this in the description, but what they'll do is have you sign a contract, and a pilot will take off for you, and then they'll allow you to pilot the aircraft along a set course. Obviously they land the plane too, but for the most part you are flying the plane yourself! Yes, the pilot does instruct you on what to do, but it's still really cool to do.
And yes, there are some lovely aircraft at their airport too, for instance, there's that beautiful Cessna Citation X in the hangar, I just absolutely love that thing! I doubt I'm old enough to actually get an amateur pilot's license, but it's a good thought to keep in mind, I guess.
Damn bro, this is some quality work you got here! And for your first build, it's amazing! My first build was legit a sausage with wings. I can see you being a pretty good user in the future, as you get even better!
Welcome to SimplePlanes.
@MrPorg137 yep, we actually have lots of quarries, in fact, you can actually hear when they detonate their high explosives when clearing out an area, it's that loud!
@Awsomur I thought so too, it's not like you can get very close to them though, since you're not exactly allowed by law to fly near them. Even if it wasn't illegal, I doubt it would be a very good idea anyway, especially considering all the water vapor that gets released into the air, that can't be very good for the prop engines, let alone a jet engine.
@Viper3000ad none, all you do is sign a contract, have a certified pilot take off for you, and then they let you fly around a restricted course that you're supposed to follow. They then land for you too, obviously.
@JohnnyBoythePilot Yeah, it was all over the news this morning, music fest and everything. Maybe they're just hiding it so nobody knows, just to make sure the general public doesn't go apeshit over everything.
Poor El-Diablo in the fourth picture, lol.
This looks incredible, definitely tag me when it's posted!

+1@SimpleJets congrats on 500 points btw!

@SimpleJets I was referring to the comment below mine, he misspelled trophy and said thropy instead.
@Tarquez you're welcome! It's fun being able to download more of your high part-count creations, now that I have a new phone!
@Adanene "Thropy"
+1I think Trophy is the word you're looking for, eh?
Cool design! Any idea when Notaleopard will be back?
This thing is so detailed, I love how it actually has a historically accurate interior too!

I know this post is old but for some reason the wheels twitch like crazy when it’s on the ground, any explanation or solution for this?
+1What exactly is this?
+1@Sheogorath100 oh, well that went from 0-100 really quickly!
@stig27 thanks! That really is a beautiful Cessna Citation, isn't it?
@MrSilverWolf they didn't say specifically, but if I had to guess, it was an N-Model.
@Theflyingtrex wow, mine is an iPhone 7 and it isn't as good as yours!
@Jerba which one, the photo from last year or this year?
@klm747klm747 nice!
This is great btw, I love the one with the rap song on the A-330.
+2@QingyuZhou he meant to say "did a whole playthrough" not di a whole playthrough.
@EchoFiveWhiskey oh wow, thanks a lot!

@Mattangi2 lol, clearly.
When you get hit with this ban-hammer irl, you get banned irl.
From living.
@QingyuZhou it's ok!
@QingyuZhou southeastern Pennsylvania, in Schwenksville.
@Armyguy1534 sounds pretty cool!

@Armyguy1534 cool! Is it like an actual job or is it just an event?
@JamesBoA thanks!

@Randomdoggo it sure is!
@GINGER01 lol, I feel like people would notice that pretty easily though.
@Theflyingtrex well lucky you, is it the iPhone 11 Pro Max?
@Viper3000ad none, all you do is sign a contract, have a certified pilot take off for you, and then they let you fly around a restricted course that you're supposed to follow. They then land for you too, obviously.
This looks awesome! Flys like a dream too, definitely one of your best aircraft!
+1@Hedero thanks! The "Black Rank" is actually called Platinum, just as your rank is gold, grey is silver, brown is bronze, and white is carbon.
@Tarquez the yellow fuselage is hollow plastic: The rubber-band is inside the plastic to protect it!

@JohnnyBoythePilot alright, then maybe I've been lied to. (how could you I thought I trusted you...)
+2@QingyuZhou I meant "we" as the SimplePlanes community in general
@MrPorg137 probably.
