If I were to pilot one of these things I would just leave the landing gear on, like I am not gonna trust a little skid and one tail wheel to safely stop my aircraft and keep me in one piece lmao
@Nonamepilot what kind of question is that? I can’t really give you a tutorial for something like this. You just gotta keep playing and gain experience with how the game works. That’s all.
@CyanWasNotTheImpostor technically yes, but you can’t really add missiles or bombs to it, because SimplePlanes is weird in the sense that the moment a Missile touches water, even if it hasn’t even been primed yet, it will be “destroyed” in the sense that when you fire it, it’s rocket engine puts out no power and the gyro is inoperable. And dumb bombs despawn after a certain depth underwater, so that’s no good either.
@EternalDarkness I like how all this has in terms of editing is a background and some other digital art tools used to enhance things, and it gets taken down, yet all those thumbnails with anime girls, screenshots with tons of shaders and ray-tracing, and other mods that are purely for eye-catching attention are left alone. Like I put effort and work into the thumbnails I create cause I want people to atleast see I care about these things, and I want my builds to have quality and whatnot with first impressions, and a lot of that comes from the thumbnail. A simple screenshot won’t do. Kinda silly that this is your definition of misleading, even though it’s very clear that it’s not a legitimate SimplePlanes screenshot, and I’m not trying to mislead anyone at all lol. I just like cool looking thumbnails.
So apparently the little water wake effect that torpedoes have in the water is actually not directly tied to the water. Basically it appears when the torpedo hits the water, and is actually attached to the torpedo itself. As you can see in the video, I fired the torpedo while the bay doors were closed, so that it stayed inside the aircraft primed. This technically means that it’s “free falling” and when I hit the water, the torpedo recognized that as hitting the water, and as a result, it activated its wake effect. I managed to pull back out of the water, and the wake is still active, even though I’m not actually in the water! This can be used for smoke trails, or even custom wake trails for boats! Smoke trails probably isn’t as applicable though, as you’d have to touch the torpedo on the water, and doing that in a plane could be problematic to say the least.
Actually, this is a rendition of one of the first planes I’ve ever uploaded to the site, my “Silhouetto” Stunt Plane. I don’t really mind that you didn’t credit since it’s not really a good creation by me, but please, give credit when credit is due.
This is really cool, but I’ll have three fingers on my screen without intention of opening Dev Console, and it’ll interrupt everything I do every 10 seconds lol. There should be a button or something in the top right of the screen on mobile that opens up Dev Console, and it’s not like you wouldn’t be able to access it once you execute //maincamera>camera.set_depth 10, cause you can still use all the controls and whatnot.
@Sovetskysoyus my parents won’t let me
If only it had one more part...
This looks and functions wonderfully, gotta love the low part-count as well!
I wish I could participate but I can’t have a Gravatar Account lol
+1@WSI it was in his video “The boys go to Kmart”
+1Audio is from a Joshdub video for those wondering lol
I can’t see anything
Looks amazing so far!
@SpaceSpaceTheNerd really? Huh, guess not then lol

+1This is absolutely hilarious
@onyx63 thanks!
I don’t know how but I’ve somehow surpassed you in points, enjoy my spotlight while I can!
+2Get the sparkling apple cider!
If we could capitalize on this glitch that would make for some really cool custom muzzle flashes

What in the name of Andrew is happening here...
+1@FeatherWing thanks, IbisPaint can certainly do wonders!
First time?
@PolarcapAeronautics [clickable text here](paste link here)
@Mikey101234 yep
@blackvultureaeroespace cool!
@frogbot4000 I guess you could call it that, but that’s not really what I was referring to when I mentioned SeaWings in the description.

Cute little thing
+1This is actually really accurate, nicely done!

@EternalDarkness ok, thanks. Sorry if I’m being rude, just felt I had to explain

@BagelPlane nope, they’re just static as far as I know.

What in the deviantart fetish am I looking at
+3I wonder if the actual creators of the TV Show knew it was a Russian aircraft or if they were just grabbing a random 3D model to use for animating lol

This is freaking awesome, that exhaust plume is absolutely beautiful, and the duo-tone landing gear doors are really well made!
Haha first
