@UncomplicatedAircraft fuselage panelling is a bit tricky to learn, but once you get used to it, it’s easy to make dynamic shapes that resemble stealth aircrafts’ fuselages. Looking through your account, you seem like a very underrated user, and we of course can’t have that. So without further ado, enjoy the spotlight!
@Thecatbaron yeah, it’s hard to replicate soft-bodied wing movement in a physics engine of complete solids, as a dragon’s wing membranes would be very flexible, but that simply isn’t possible in SP.
@Hawker180hurricane I tagged you three times on the unlisted post, idk why it ain’t working. Maybe if I make it public it’ll work and appear in your successors
@BogdanX thanks! I wanted it to look good with few parts, and seeing a compliment on that from you, the master of part efficiency in crazy-accurate replicas, means a lot!
For anyone wondering, cause I have a feeling there’s gonna be atleast one person that wants to replicate this, open DevTools, and type in //MainCamera>camera.set_fieldOfView, and then put in a really small number, anything from 1-5 should do nicely. The default setting is 50, for if/when you want to reset it.
I do this all the time, it’s especially amazing to do it while listening to music, timing everything that happens in your little scenario to the beat of the song. It sends actual chills down my spine when I do it sometimes, which can only be compared to getting high on something in terms of enjoyment. It’s fun for me really, I can create such vivid images sometimes that it really feels like you’re immersed in your scenario at times. Of course, it all ends once you open your eyes, but I can still do it with my eyes open, it’s just harder.
@aTerra that’s SimplePlanes for you. If we had a part that could stretch and bend like fabric or some other moveable cloth-based material, I’d definitely use it for this so there wouldn’t be that weird gap.
@aTerra the turning is supposed to simulate how a dragon would actually “roll” like a plane would; they tuck their wings in, much like predatory bird does when diving, so they have less drag that prevents them from spinning.
@ledownloader123 no it’s there, SP is just being a tard for some reason and not loading it properly, same thing for me. Just search it up on google if youre so inclined.
@Hedero yes but I’ve already posted it, this post here is just for convenience purposes. Idk, I just don’t want to look like I’m tryna point-farm or something.
@UncomplicatedAircraft you’re welcome!

+1@redcrafter I recommend that you see a Proctologist, and if that doesn’t work, see an exorcist.

I swear every time I open up SimplePlanes, I imagine my phone consciously thinks “oh gOD NOT AGAIN”
@YoDudeChase agreed, who needs curves when you got dem 🥵💦angles💦🥵

@1gecko most of the barrels’ length is hidden inside the turret irl, so the shorter exterior profile is mainly for size convenience.
@MinWiii I can’t recall.
