@Kerbango eh it only uses like 0.5% CPU and less than 35 mb of RAM so it's not doing too much, it downloads ads or even the main page on demand like when you open a website so it isn't using a ton of bandwidth either. It is annoying if you only play a couple games though, I'd rather just have a dedicated .exe I can download, although piracy would go crazy as indicated by people pirating apk files on their Android device. If you don't like Steam maybe look up GOG, I think you can just buy and download games from there without a launcher
@Rjenteissussy yeah I did it for a year on a really crappy laptop, as long as you set up a hotkey to quickly enable and disable the effects you should be fine to use it for just screenshots
@TriStar realizing his fault, he knew he must expand this new living space, regardless of the contract he had signed promising not to destroy the place.
The worst is when you're trying to do something cool like land on one of the destroyers and you get kamikazied by a block plane you built 2 years ago right as you're about to finally land
Ok I looked at the build and I think I'm right. As of right now you have a function that basically sets the opacity (alpha) to a certain amount. That's fine, except it cycles the value through a bunch of values that aren't supported. That means it displays the value and tag as part of the label since it thinks that it isn't a real tag. I could create an FT function that basically cycles it from the lowest to the highest supported values, but that stuff is kind of a pain when I'm away from my computer. Also, you have a random tag in one of your labels that just says “<Alpha=#>” you can probably delete that and be fine. I might try figuring out how to fix this, but if you don’t hear from me for a couple days you might want to start working on it yourself since I’ve got a very busy few days coming up.
So I assume you've read the rich text documentation as well as this. the issue with the <Alpha=#> bug isnt something I have encountered, but it looks like a leftover Rich Text tag. That particular tag only supports the values 00, 22, 44, 66, 88, AA, CC, and FF so you probably currently have a value entered into that tag that isn't in the supported format. I’m going to look at your build and see what I can do.
Thank you for your message and for raising these concerns. We have found no evidence suggesting a security breach on our SimplePlanes platform. It is more likely that incidents like these have been the result of individuals deleting their accounts intentionally or using compromised credentials. That said, we are always striving to enhance the security of our platform. We are exploring the introduction of two-factor authentication to provide an additional layer of security for our user accounts.
It’s also in my opinion possible that someone had a rather weak password and someone just brute-forced it.
@Majakalona you should pick up a PS2, it’s super fun. Maybe not the PC, if you’ve already got something that can run games it’s probably not worth building a thingy that expensive
@Rjenteissussy yeah but the border itself looks weird to me. That’s a thing that Windows itself does, so you’ve got to be on an older version of windows because 10 and 11 don’t make window borders that look like that.
I’ve played all kinds of things. They aren’t really to hold me over for SP2, but I've never really had a main game I've played. One unique one is X4: Foundations, it's a game with a simulated economy in space where you can fly spaceships or hire pilots to fly the ships for you. It's super fun and I'm honestly kind of surprised it wasn't more successful. I've also played The Finals a lot recently, it's a really good fps that mixes it up from some of the other stuff I've played. Also a little Forza, I recently built a PC so I played that one a lot when I was getting used to having good graphics.
There's this mod I had for a day or two where you press a big button and you get a random plane. Unfortunately the button is massive and it never goes away, even when you hide the UI with F9. Also I'm not sure if the planes are truly random because I remember every single time I pressed the button I got something really old.
I like helicopters with performance that is smoothed and enhanced with Funky Trees, that said I like the classic Trim control as it seems the most authentic to real life.
clamp(sum(pitch), 0, 1) and sum(roll) might work better because the turret won’t return home after you move it. Also pitch and roll might need to be capitalized, I forget
It's possible through some pretty complicated Funky Trees, I've never attempted writing it from scratch but I used some code from jamesPLANESiii on this car
@TalonTheCRTguy yeah if you need a GPU go ahead, although in my experience using a GT710 they aren't great at anything very intense. I use one for running a live stream somewhere, and it hits 80% usage just running a streaming software at 720p resolution. The SimplePlanes experience would be interesting to see as it is technically within the minimum specs I think
How is bro platinum

+1demo
+1@dekanii no not really it's showing the github page for seeyoufarm
+1@dekanii yeah yours is setup incorrectly, you need to change the “target url” on the page, not just the link it takes you to
+1Some people don't know how it works and set it to the hits page so they get millions of visits lol
+1@Rjenteissussy yeah I did it for a year on a really crappy laptop, as long as you set up a hotkey to quickly enable and disable the effects you should be fine to use it for just screenshots
+1@Rjenteissussy
+1Deja Vu
+1what the heck is this image lol
+1Man is playing SimplePlanes in real life. That’s the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
+1Should I make my RX 7800xt?
+1@TriStar realizing his fault, he knew he must expand this new living space, regardless of the contract he had signed promising not to destroy the place.

+1You got me. This was intentional, but it worked. Take my upvote.
+1-1
+1@TheMouse it was from an email they sent me. You could hyperlink to that comment if you want.
+1From the developers:

+1I have a switch and an N64. Both are bangers ofc. Plus a PS2, a custom-built PC, and 2 laptops.
+1Your collection is honestly probably cooler.
not mobile friendly, doesn’t run on 1995 Tamagotchi
+1Mr silver wolf you started a copypasta 😈
These people don’t know, ask a moderator. The answer is probably no though

+1How many upvotes would you want for this post? Actually, I’ve upvoted so many of your planes you should give it to me for free. 😈
+1@Graingy yes, grinding piano gave me enough skill points to increase my 2-handed weapon skills. I will achieve the stealth archer build one day.
+1@Majakalona bro why'd you get edgy all of a sudden
+1I liked it better when you were innocent
That kinda happened to me with guitar. Don't get me wrong, I'm not great at it, but I can play some chords and stuff.
+1I'm on a plain(Ooh)
+1I can't complain(Ooh)

@Majakalona Carl92 is a cultured reference

+1Boil it. Then it will evaporate and it’s very essence will fill the air.
+1I’m tagging a few people here, hopefully you guys will have some ideas and can help start a conversation.

+1@TalonTheCRTguy it's a GT710, those things are ancient, and after the shortage they've gone incredibly cheap
