"Tango"
The thumbnail isn't just for looks; it symbolizes the F9R being the dawn of FSF, or Fairly Simple Fighters.
Setting the stage
for a new series of combat aircraft, the F9R is pretty much an all-around aircraft; a jack of all trades, yet a master of none. It's fairly agile, especially with flaps, it has good guns (including two heavy-hitting cannons), and its armor is decent for a FSF plane, although the canopy breaks frequently if hit which pretty much results in instant death for some reason. The Tango's speed isn't the greatest either, despite having two engines, but it's not terrible I suppose.
Trivia
-Tango appeared in FSF Promotional Post (the one that almost no one saw lol)
-The F9R was the first official, designated FSF plane, but the Harrower was built before the Tango, albeit without the FSF tag or intention (you'll meet the Harrower in a few days, trust me).
-The Tango bears a close semblance to the F-104, despite being a design intended for 1948.
