This is my first aircraft. The Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter is a light jet fighter that is relatively inexpensive and easy to produce, making it a popular export fighter. Born in the 1950s as a privately funded fighter program, the F-5 entered service in the 1960s and was used during the cold war by U.S. allies.
Controls
Ordinary airplane controls.
Notes
Due to a takeoff elevator issue, simply start pulling up as you start moving. Upon liftoff, retract gear immediately.
I painted it to be the Swiss Air Force version because the paint job looked good.
