For water take offs don't use the pitch. Vtol down and it should take off if not take off the intakes being used as hatches.

I just went to British Colombia and Coulson Group water bombers (the company that owns this plane) let me board it when they were doing maintenence on it. It was huge! I got to walk from front to back on both floors and sit in the pilot seat!
Take out the hatches on the front middle and back I had a bad time with those
