Armed with a fast firing autocannon firing explosive slugs and four Wing MGs, the Flying Turtles are a force to be wary of. They however cannot land so they usually expend their airframes and parachute down. Currently, they are attempting to figure out how to create a plane they can land, but for now, they use these. They keep an uneasy peace with Mega Ducc.

I created this for multiple reasons. First, it was because of this exchange I had between Dllama4 (BoganBoganTheWoman) on the SPBC a while back:
It was also because of a recent conversation about my peculiar name on another server (SimplePlanes Safe Haven), which turned into a little competition about making a flying turtle (I didn’t screenshot the convo, sorry), my account turning 4, and because I was frustrated with something on my next plane, and wanted to build something fun.

The plane flies kind of like a heavy fighter. It cannot land or take off, so it’s best to spawn in the air. To compensate for the landing part, the turtle can detach from the plane, parachute down, and can sorta walk around awkwardly on the ground, which is expected of a turtle. Dogfighting is fun - for some reason the turtle has the upper edge most of the time, and I seriously don’t know why because of it’s slow pitch response. Maybe it’s because of it’s small size? Anyways, enjoy as always.
