Normal. Use gear to retract twin lights on the lower side of the hull.

History: 2070, sea monsters invaded earth (like Pacific Rim). So the Areial Planetary EXplorer (A.P.E.X) was deployed, it shot into space from a pad, then, astrnauts patiently waited 200 years to get to the other planets from which the invadera came from. When A.P.E.X Number A-57 arrived, it was faced with the greatest monster to come. Facing an engine failure, and half of it's left hull's shields catastrophically pierced, it heroically fought to the death, and sacrificed itself for twelve other supply ships just entering orbit.

The gun is made by some one else.
