The Great Bear, number 111, was a locomotive of the Great Western Railway. It was the first 4-6-2 (Pacific) locomotive used on a railway in Great Britain, and the only one of that type ever built by the GWR.

VTOL to move the camera from left to right in the cab
note
You might already notice this locomotive hasn't got valvegear, thats becouse due to the speed of 80 mp/h
. the valvegear would just incinerate instantly.
Also, due to its chunky size it might have trouble traversing switches.

My favorite looking train so far. Reminds me of Henry from the Railway series
@TirpitzWantsPlanes tht could be nice
@winterro no, i haven't made any, can you explain on how i will?
@winterro also take note of building truro, its smaller than a 57xx Pannier
@winterro i have city class prints in a drive, Do you need them? I could post it in a forum and tag you
@TirpitzWantsPlanes there were no size documentations of the city class designs. untill i looked at the great bears tender- truro and bear have the same tender, problem solved!
I just had to size the blueprints tender until it was the same as the great bears one
like making loopings
@TirpitzWantsPlanes have you made internal siderods that spin in the oppisite way? that way it cancels the rotator inertia out and doesnt have the spinny error
@winterro about those rotators, i used them on a 0-4-0, they won't seem to work. Any ways i can contact you to show you?
@winterro Ooh nice I would love to see how those side rods would work/look with those side skirts thing
@TirpitzWantsPlanes thx for benig able to use the logo, and yes the city of truro is on the menu too
Still, overall a beautiful build. Would love to see a city of truro
Look mom! My GWR writings! I'm famous now!
@winterro nice
@AWESOMENESS360 both, he encourages me to make more, and I do like doing it
Man you are just stocking scratch’s mod up with trains, did he ask for this or are you just doing it for fun? Either way, I imagine he appreciates it greatly!
@Mikey101234 this one is purely for rail, and am not able to change it without rebuilding it totally
Can you make some trains that are able to just go on land and not need rails
Another train to add to the collection
Loving these builds!!
