Story and Orgin: The newly formed company, Keating Aeronautics and Industries, is a small low budget company looking for new ideas and partnerships. For a short period of time, Keating Industries partnered with Leopold and Lucas Aviation Corporation in experimental aircraft. The aircraft, at first, was very flawed and had many problems, and in the first 7 months of testing and building, Leopold and Lucas Aviation Corporation decides to leave the project and focus on more important builds. Keating Aeronautics and Industries, is now in debt and a dying company, with only a half completed plane with many problems. But, their is still hope, one engineer from the L and L had stayed with the project, as well was the rest of K.A.I engineers. They started to make good progress, and fixed many flaws. The first test flight was successful, so they continued to work on it. Radar equipment and extra fuel tanks were added on, as well as an more powerful engine, the next test flight has surprising results, because of it light body, radar, and fuel tanks it could reach a relatively high service ceiling, of 35000 feet. It could also effectively listen in on military grade radio and radar stations, making it a very effective spy plane for reconnaissance, thrus, earning the name “Listener”After a couple more test flights, an rotatable Gatling gun was added on the bottom of the fuselage, angled slight down, this made it effective for strafing runs in many directions. The military saw the Listeners Potential, so they decided to fund the Company, in return, K.A.I would produce Listener models for the military. With a much bigger budget, K.A.I set it’s sites on better models and started to improve the Listener. Better planes are on the way, so stay tuned.
