Auto Credit Based on mikoyanster's !!CHALLENGE 50s JET DOGFIGHT - FINISHED

Here we go again…

First introduced in 1952, this plane, which was developed by Kamchatka aircraft as one of the firms first projects, was a leap into the world of jet technology. Being the 2nd operational jet aircraft ever produced (in my little made up world at least it is), and boast advanced fighting capabilities. With 2 versions entering production, this is the second variation, and has been fitted with 4 early heat seeking missiles. And, it also has 4 cannons, 2 23mm and 2 30mm autocannons with a high rate of fire. Also, it has a working ejection system, that works just by pressing a button.

It has a top speed of about 400 kph, and has 2 engines. In addition, it has a primitive radar, which its missiles use to track targets.

Specifications

wingspan: 10 meters
Length: 9.8 meters
Height: 3.8 meters
Empty weight: 2,888 kg
Loaded weight: 3,385 kg

@mikoyanster Disqualified. It doesn't have the shape of a 1950s airplane.

    SVD-1 – Evaluation

Realism (50/100): Design and flight model are very basic and far from realistic 1950s jet behavior. Handling and proportions feel simplified, with doubtful aerodynamic coherence.

Weapons (25/30): Armament within the allowed limit, but mix of missile types and gun calibers feels unbalanced for the era.

Appearance (15/30): Very low detail level; rough shapes, simple geometry, and minimal surface work. Cockpit interior is crude and lacks realism.

Build Quality (20/30): Functional but primitive. Visible alignment issues and structural simplicity reduce build quality.

Fair Play (25/30): Within rule limits, though part count is below minimum (requires at least 200).

Description (25/30): Provides some creative lore, but it’s fictional and lacks technical depth compared with historical entries.

    Total: 160/250 points.
A functional but very rough aircraft—basic geometry, unrealistic flight model, and low detail. Creativity noted, but major refinement is needed for realism and build quality.

@SchmooveBrain very inconsistent. Like when I research US ship classes I have to look for different parts when organizing data

@SchmooveBrain yes it’s weird that only a couple Wikipedia articles use this designation. Probably since it’s the only version of the rifle that went into production (other than reproductions). Like the AK had the AKM and has numbers all the way past AK-105 (for 2005)

oh neato, so the same as the designations for the AK-74 or AN-94
(Avtomat Kalashnikova 1974, Avtomat Nikonova 1994 (style - designer - year it entered production)
I've only ever seen it referred to as the SVD, so I didn't realise it also had the year designation

Is it designated SVD-63? I know now after fact checking that that's the year it began production, but it was in development as early as 1958

No, there's a Russian rifle somewhat close to the AK series in construction called the SVD (most commonly known as the Dragunov, after the designer)
Its an old Russian gun from the 60s (maybe even 50s)
