Here we go again…
First introduced in 1952, this plane, which was developed by Kamchatka aircraft as one of the firms first projects, was a leap into the world of jet technology. Being the 2nd operational jet aircraft ever produced (in my little made up world at least it is), and boast advanced fighting capabilities. With 2 versions entering production, this is the second variation, and has been fitted with 4 early heat seeking missiles. And, it also has 4 cannons, 2 23mm and 2 30mm autocannons with a high rate of fire. Also, it has a working ejection system, that works just by pressing a button.
It has a top speed of about 400 kph, and has 2 engines. In addition, it has a primitive radar, which its missiles use to track targets.

In the 50’s It would be wire guided missiles.
@SchmooveBrain very inconsistent. Like when I research US ship classes I have to look for different parts when organizing data
@GrandPrix
Yeah, wikipedia articles are never good about designations tho tbh
@SchmooveBrain yes it’s weird that only a couple Wikipedia articles use this designation. Probably since it’s the only version of the rifle that went into production (other than reproductions). Like the AK had the AKM and has numbers all the way past AK-105 (for 2005)
@GrandPrix
oh neato, so the same as the designations for the AK-74 or AN-94
(Avtomat Kalashnikova 1974, Avtomat Nikonova 1994 (style - designer - year it entered production)
I've only ever seen it referred to as the SVD, so I didn't realise it also had the year designation
@SchmooveBrain the rifle is called the svd-63
@GrandPrix
Is it designated SVD-63? I know now after fact checking that that's the year it began production, but it was in development as early as 1958
@SchmooveBrain SVD-63
@SchmooveBrain oh yeah I know about the dragonov
@MajorMapleLeaf
No, there's a Russian rifle somewhat close to the AK series in construction called the SVD (most commonly known as the Dragunov, after the designer)
Its an old Russian gun from the 60s (maybe even 50s)
@SchmooveBrain There's a riffle called the svd-1?!?!
Nice plen :3
(Thought this was the rifle when I saw the notis lol)
@CarGuy32SP really nicee
