Introduction
At the dawn of the Cold War, control of the skies became a matter of strategic survival. The veteran propeller fighters of World War II had served their purpose, but a new contender was rising: the jet fighter. These first-generation aircraft carried both promise and flaws—fast yet unstable, innovative yet still searching for technological refinement.
In this climate emerged the need for a “secret championship”: a clash between manufacturers and designers worldwide, each striving to forge the ultimate first-generation jet fighter. Not futuristic prototypes, but interceptors and close-combat machines born of the 1950s—straight or slightly swept wings, near-supersonic speeds, functional cockpits, realistic designs shaped by the rivalry of nations.
Every participant in this challenge represents a visionary engineer of 1953, tasked with presenting a prototype worthy of aerial duels. All rules, limitations, and weapons have been set to ensure a balanced battlefield, where only the designer’s ingenuity and the AI pilot’s performance can decide the outcome
Will your creation fade into obscurity as a forgotten museum piece, or rise to become the legendary fighter that once ruled the skies of the mid-20th century?
