"Vertigo"

Not to be confused with the Sardines VTOL jet included with SP.

Behold!

A jet that I bet you may have never seen before now; I know I sure haven't!

Despite the obscurity of this subject, I found it quite the cool plane to build, as well as a chance to try out VTOL systems. It's pretty solid all around, but do beware its maneuverability, it turns ridiculously fast! Also, say whatever you want, but I adamantly say it looks like something straight out of Ace Combat lol

BUT WAIT!

I can't go any further without giving credit where it's due:

@KPLBall!

Who requested me to make this aircraft. We all tip our hats to the

Fun Facts:

-This aircraft didn't have any name which I could find, so I gave it one. Vertigo was the first that came to mind. I also considered Vortex, but Vertigo stuck better for some reason.
-I built this without using any blueprints, due to my given reference picture being to the only trace I could find of the jet.
-Building on that last one, the Vertigo has a slight inaccuracy according to the one who requested this jet: The Type B V-STOL would've actually had a top-nose-mounted gun much like the F/A-18 Hornet, as opposed to the under-nose-mounted gun I gave it inspired by the F-4 Phantom II.
-Despite being labeled as a PEA-G, this Type B V-STOL actually predates the first true PEA-G (F3H-2) by a few days. The Type B V-STOL actually wasn't intended to be the revitalization of PEA, but after building it and remembering how fun part-efficient building can be, I ultimately decided it was time for some vindication... PEAvenge, if you will.

PEA Lore

In real life, a jet that never was. But in the PEAverse, an absolute star. The Type B V-STOL would go on to be a mass produced fighter-attack aircraft, known as the AV-9 Vertigo. Entering service in the late 70s, it would serve in many of SimpleAmericaâ„¢'s wars, such as the Gulf War where it scored 5 confirmed aerial victories with no combat losses. Many considered it a replacement for the Harrier, especially given its designation cutting out to be next in line to the legendary VTOL attacker. But in reality, the Vertigo and Harrier were the best of friends, serving in tandem and often doubling trouble for whoever they were facing. Legend has it that this close bond is why the Harrier-like jet in SP is nicknamed "Vertigo."
