Hey, it's in that photo!

The Umbra Mk5C was a larger MBT based off the original Mk4E Fennic MBT. It was designed in 2012 to replace Exeron's fleet of aging Fennics, and to finally replace Nosewise. Commonly the "Leader of the Pack" within an Exeronian tank division, the Kit would be assisted by 3 Fennics and commonly two T-72A EVTs, and would commonly move in "squads" with 4 of these groupings. The Kit was very successful and earned it's place within Exeron's history.

The Mk5C carries a 140mm cannon, a notable upgrade over the Mk4E, but it carries the same defense systems. However, the Mk5C saw the addition of more effective blowout panels and an autoloader, giving the crew even more survivability in the event of a confrontation. It also saw upgrades to the armor package on its Lower Glacis, as opposed to the Mk4E. It also features a second MG meant for the loader (failure of the autoloader was still a prospect, so the tank was built with the ability to keep loading/firing if the autoloader is damaged)

TRIM for Traverse

It gets the name Kit as a reference to Vulpes Macronis, the second smallest family of fox after the Fennic. I intend to continue the naming tradition for naming after types of fox, but after the Umbra Mk6C I will end the tradition in terms of size. I will still be naming them after types of fox, just not based on size.
