Grumman F4F-3S Wildcatfish

Tail number '879' ;)

Teaser 1
Teaser 2

Features
*Realistic, functional cockpit
*Floats! (Lots of fun)
*Realistic shell casings
*.50 cal M2s set to converge at 500 meters

Instructions
*DOES NOT WORK ON LAND, SPAWN IN WATER/AIR.
*To take off, full throttle, pull up at around 130-140mph. You'll be airborns in a couple seconds.
*AG1 + Yaw allows use of rudders on pontoons
*AG2 reverses propeller pitch, useful for slowing down/ stopping after landing.

A little history on this aircraft: a single prototype was constructed in 1943, but the reduced maneuverability caused by the heavy floats caused the project to be cancelled. However, it sure did look cool so I made one lol.

This plane beat me in a dogfight by doing a loop at high a altitude and making me stall

@F4f879 I would hope so, the f4f wasn't very fast to begin with.

@Mastermind1941 it was! one prototype was made by Edo Corporation but its performance irl was subpar to say the least- max speed was reduced by about 100mph and handling was awful

I put floats on RC plane, it’s a Sport Cub and it looks a lot cooler, and this makes the wild cat look epic-er!
