This is the Douglas DC-3. It had the ability to travel far and at a good speed. This revolutionized the airline industry in the 1930s-1940s. It was a remodeled version it’s predecessor, the DC-2. All the external work of the DC-3 was complete metal.

    @DandruffCat I have many times. I even tried landing upside down once. I nosedived into the ground because the wings were flat bottom lol.
