This might be my best design to this day.

the design:

-was inspired by a moebius loop
-keeps rotating during flight
-has fancy moving lights on it
-possible advantages of this shape might be
=> improved stealth capabiiities
=> better sensor/radar range
=> battle damage is distributed evenly
=> reduced drag because there is only one surface all around the aircraft

the controls:

-the aircraft savely transfers from vertical to horicontal by itself.
-don t interfere with the inputcontrols to much during transition, this might cause unstable flight behavior.
Transition is completed at 400 mph.

=> AG8

gives you blinking red lights on the back for orientation
(turning fuselage can be a little bit confusing sometimes)

=>AG1-4

give you control of four different autoguns
1 big spread short distance
4 small spread long distance

-regular flight inputs behave normal

-procedure for takeoff

=> give some throttle
(throttle is linked to groundspeed. 100% equal 800mph)
(setting throttle to zero will start a controlled decent)
=> retract LandingGear
(extending LandingGear during flight will start the transition to vertical mode)

-procedure for landing

=>extend LandingGear
(the aircraft will slow down)
=>reduce throttle to zero below 200 mph
(aircraft will start a slow decent)

the weapons:

-the four autoguns take care of everything you might encounter.
-select your target and fire guns
-easily takes out any ship
-convoys can be a little tricky depending on your speed and distance
-effectiv on 10 miles
-360 degre lock and engage angle

This aircraft is OP in every way i could think of.

-The controls are pritty sophisticated.
-The weapons are on a different level and beyond current capabilities.
-Its close to indestructible.
-the apearance with a rotating fuselage is also highly uncommon.

Lore

In a far away future this might be a combat aircraft fighting for airdominance.
The green lights are possibly caused by a protctive energy shield.
The powerful engines might be fit for interstellar travel.
