Oh man, it's been quite a while hasn't it. Yes, Supercraft888 is back again. I'm sorry for the long periods between uploads. To be honest, it's because I really haven't been having fun with this game as much as I used to. But I've taken a brake, and I think I'm ready to start up again.

NOW! Onto the build, yes, I realize how much it looks like an Ithaca 37, I didn't intend this to look so much like it (it was worse when it was made of wood). It's also not functional, it's just for looks. Now onto the usual thing that I put below this part.

The S.22 "Opposer" is a shotgun created by FeyLand Inc. for the purpose of home protection, hunting, and sports. It was used by the GRA during the early portions of the war of 2167 despite the fact it was phased out of service by the GRA in 2153.

The S.22 was a prevalent firearm because of it's ease of manufacturing, the fact that it's a common firearm in the outer colonies, and versatility. The construction of the S.22 was simple and cheap to make, the grip, buttstock, cheek rest, and pump were all made of black polymer which made it easy to grip, even when wet. The bottom feed and eject port made the gun very hard to get dirty as there were only a few moving parts and openings. Finally, it's most fascinating feature was the slam fire function which allowed the user to spew shells out much faster than other shotguns. It's popularity with the outer colonies is a result of people needing to protect their homes from criminals, hunting wild animals, or protecting a field from wildlife. Despite the S.22's seemingly simple design, it was actually incredibly versatile. It would be used by farmers, citizens, police, security forces, and the eventual GRA. It was the perfect gun to tame a wild new frontier.

Due to the S.22's success, countless variations and modifications, legal and illegal would be made. FeyLand Inc. would become famous for this product and many more firearms, but it most well known product, even today, will always be the S.22 Opposer. The gun that started a revolution, and protected the outer colonies.
