P-52 E Thundercat 3.2

228k RamboJutter  3.9 years ago

Introduction

So following my last build where i combined a number of aspects of different aircraft i decided to take it one step further, here we have a not-a-P38 build. It has a Thunderbolt type wing, p-38 layout, mustang fins etc. I then added some more details, increased the armament and generally played happy.

Controls

AG1=turns the engines onto tick-over (ignition switch and fuel levers, thanks to JamesPLANESii for the funky gubbins)
AG2=opens the cockpit
AG3=drop external fuel tanks
Throttle=throttle from 5% to 100% (first 5% is taken up with AG1 tickover, thanks to JamesPLANESii for the funky gubbins)
VTOL dn=flaps down (including flap lever in cockpit)

    @Revan13152 I'm confused, they are just standard engines, i don't even know if yiu can change their sound?

    @SteadfastContracting yeah its designed that way, the twin engine fighters of the period where sluggish to manoeuvre, fast in a straight line though :) if you move the hidden wing panels in board a bit you can get it to roll faster.

    Well, it's really smooth, but it's extremely sluggish. It's still really cool though.@RamboJutter
