The Track-Walker is a light combat mech designed for combat in most environments. Its special ability is to transform between Mech and Tank modes, adapting to the surroundings.

Equipped with two heavy hardpoints, the Track-Walker can be heavily armed and suited to various battle needs.

The Track-Walker gets its name from the fact that it looks like it is standing on the tracks that make up its Tank Mode.

USES

Track-Walker units can serve in a wide range of environment types, including urbanized areas and open fields, and even in certain outer space locations if the required life support systems are installed.

Tank Mode is best for normal travel as it uses less energy and gives the Walker a lower profile. The Walker mode serves little purpose except to increase sight range or to traverse obstacles.

ARMAMENT

The Track-Walker has two heavy hardpoints which can support many heavy weaponry. As per a safety setting, the hardpoints only provide +45°/-45° of vertical guidance, but the setting can be disabled.

This variant of the Track-Walker is equipped with two heavy particle rifles. The weapon can be changed out for others.

An additional lighter hardpoint can be installed on the top of the head.

PRODUCTION

Track-Walker units are produced in a assembled-to-order scheme; a few sets of parts are stored separately prior to order. Parts can be obtained separately as well. Number of units sold is estimated to be about 250.

Only militaries can purchase Track-Walker units.

[ ! ] There is a bug with the right track which will cause rotation and unbalanced acceleration during Tank Mode. I have tried fixing with Mirror function but somehow it does not work.

( i ) This is the most lineart images (three) I've created for a single SP build! That was tough.
