After the release of the SB-6, it became apparent from its sheer size that it would be problematic is used in areas without full air superiority. So Squirrel Industries quickly began to develop a stealthy Strato Bomber which was also capable for delivering a large payload, while simultaneously developing a smaller Strato bomber to compliment the SB-6. This obviously was given the SB-7 designation, while this aircraft was finalised afterwards and thus given the SB-8 designation.

The SB-8 somewhat resembles the B-2 Spirit due to limitations regarding stealthy flying wing designs. However, it is of course much larger than the B-2 and carries a much larger payload.

The development however, was not smooth sailing. Those with a good eye for detail will notice that the SB-8 uploaded is designated the SB-8-1. The original SB-8 was slightly smaller and possessed more engines which halved the efficiency of the aircraft while also making it less stealthy. The air intakes were also somewhat less stealthy also. The aircraft is now kept at the Squirrel Industries facility for testing purposes and will not be uploaded for full scale production.

Controls:
VTOL – Crude (and not very functional) airbrakes.
