70% throttle: Hover
80%+: Lift up
70%-: Go down
For cruise mode, have 80% throttle and incline 10 degrees up. As engine warms up, maintain 10-20 degrees

For controlling the turret, there are markers in the cockpit (2nd screen shot) which has points. These are your markings for the turret. If you trim all the way up/down the cannon is pointing at that marking.
