YAMASHIRO ALPACA AMALFI (KE31)
Kei truck (battery-electric)
Rank: II
USER MANUAL
NOTICE
- Uses Tone Generator for EV inverter sounds. To play without installing the mod, perform one undo and redo after getting the error message.
- Starts in drive. It will move on its own after loading.
- Behaves the same regardless of the physics setting, so Low physics is usable.
- Steering wheel users should use a rotation range of 900 degrees and disable steering assist.
Camper with standard trim here
This version has normal rims, a plastic bumper, and lacks the aero fairings. It has more drag. There may be minor differences in other areas.

Torque map
This build tests a system that can allow for more accurate throttle simulation. Desmos
- Red: 100% throttle.
- Purple: 50% throttle.
- Blue: 0% throttle.
- Dashed lines below: B2, B1, and what maximum regeneration may look like.
Eco-driving
Use the energy deployment indicator on the dashboard to improve energy efficiency. The blue bars represent the amount of power collected from the motors. If all five blue bars light up, you are close to the motor's power harvesting limit, and braking more heavily will lead to energy wastage.
The remaining range is only displayed after driving 1 km.
Virtual differential lock
Maintains the same speed on all wheels through motor control. Reduces cornering capabilities slightly.

DEV NOTES
Tiny camper for fairly short people, like those mysterious lifeforms that this guy keeps talking about. Those over 170 cm will have trouble sleeping inside. Although, there should be larger variants that will be registered as regular cars.
The exterior of the camper body is more like a stylish food truck than a reefer. The body is mainly based on the Suzuki Carry (DC51T, DD51T). Together with the turbofan rims, it gives off a retro look.
Electric propulsion was chosen as it has some benefits for campers, mainly that there is no need for a separate low voltage battery. (Technically, this version has a backup low voltage battery and turbine generator.) A low frequency GTO-VVVF inverter is used, and two Tone Generator sets are used to make the funny noises. It's sad that BEVs only became viable long after inverter technology moved to IGBT.
Rough cornering means sudden chundersteer. This is mostly prevented through body roll-based steering assist. The truck is also a lot more nimble below 40 km/h. Try it on Wright Motor Speedway in THE ITEMS, which is good for low-powered vehicles.
Some interior parts are copied from KT10-A, all other parts are new.
INFORMATION
The ALPACA AMALFI is an OEM camper truck conversion for Yamashiro's first battery-electric kei trucks, the KE31 (full-time AWD) and KF31 (RWD), which in turn, use the body of the KT30 series.
An optional aero package, consisting of unique fairings and rims, is also available for the trucks in this generation. It leads to a sizeable increase in the range of the electric variants, especially when they are used on motorways.

Cute Little Camper. Nyaa
@hpgbproductions I think I scratched it
@hpgbproductions dang
i see now
like how i can run them both on my device despite them having over 1k parts
@SuperSuperTheSylph actually (🤓) this is slower than my other kei truck, which has the same amount of power. This thing is much heavier
@RobertsAeronautics how'd it go?
I reckon I'm going to give it a little bit of the old Scandinavian flick.
goes fairly quick for a small car(or truck,idk?) tbh
love it <33
@hpgbproductions yeah, i already know that you're sigmaporean, also, facts bro
@YarisHatchback uhh i didn't make any other variants
Also southeast asia is only getting the cheap body, they drive like ass (i am southeast asian so I can say that)
where are different variations other than camper, including southeast asian market versions
