Does not work properly on mobile
Hello everyone, here's the truck as promised...... yes
Flatbed/Dumptruck version here
So... still sorry about the truck with the loader crane not being uploaded yet, sp physics simply just wont let it work without a lot of wobble, I've tried many different things, ideas etc. to make it work but nothind does work.
I don't know if it will ever work but I have started in another project.
This police car is low parts and is compatible with this post Just make sure to remove the engine and lock the steering....
Anyways.... IMPORTANT TO SEE THE CONTROLS
Pitch & Roll = Drive
Landing Gear = Rear stabilizers (mostly just to make sure the truck doesn't roll while you hoist a vehicle on to the bed)
Activate 1 = Opens doors
Activate 2 = secure vehicle to bed (works with linked post, I haven't tested other vehicles, but should hopefully work)
Activate 3 = Warning lights
Acitvate 7 + Throttle = Tilt flatbed
Trim = Extend flatbed
Launch countermeasures (V)= Horn
VTOL = Aim winch launcher
(Horizontal aiming is done by turning the truck)
WINCH CONTROLS AND INFO
There are 2 winches, both of which are 1 time use each.
Winch 1 is aimed with the red camera, Winch 2 with the green camera.
To select winch press the dedicated button on the weapon select panel.
Step by step
1 Activate 7 and put throttle on around 95% also drag trim to the bottom.
2 Select the winch you want to use (they're both the exact same)
3 Position the tow truck properly, so that the current winch reticle is in the middle of the vehicle you want to tow (if you're using the linked police car, the license plate is a good point of reference)
4 Dack up to the aproptiate distance clicky
5 Increase throttle so that the ramp makes contact with the ground. (the ramp has a certain degree of adjustment, this helps with vehicles with less ground clearance)
6 Press lending gear.
7 Unwind winch (Yaw to the right) (On pc E) Do this for maybe 10 seconds or more, just to be sure. (The winch can be unwound infinitely... no joke... so yeah..)
8 Use vtol to aim vertically (the license plate is a good place to aim for on the police car)
9 Fire guns to shoot out the magnet (The magnet of the selected winch activates automatically)
10 Yaw Left to retract the winch (On pc Q) Depending on how long you unwound the winch it might take a while before you see anything happen, but just keep holding.
11 When the vehicle is fully on the bed you can acitvate 2 to lock it in place.
12 Return the bed to default position. (0 Throttle and reset trim)
13 Now you can unselect the winch to deactivate the magnet (Lights off and lights on work to disable all winches)
14 (optional) If you want to reel the winch in to default activate it again, reel it in further and then just deactivate it and it should return to default.
Sorry if it sounds complicated, but it's easier than it sounds. (Might take some practice)
Winch 1 and 2 activate their respective winch and magnet.
Lights on activates headlights.
Lights off deactivates headlights.
Only one option works at a time, you can not have headlights on at the same time as you use a winch
Air suspension (idk how realistic it is, but it works)
"floaty cameras" Just move around when you brake, turn, go over bumps etc.
Impressive load capacity (more than the trucks weight actually...)
Control panel thing... neat.
Unique winch launch system
Drag disabeled on most parts (increased performance)
Pretty well detailed (not extreme)
Idk can't remember more tbh..
Not really a feature but if you haven't noticed it is heavily based on a Scania P400 truck.
