Tyrannosaurus Rex

15.5k Hatsy  one month ago

Did I mention that the T.Rex is my favorite animal/dinosaur/?

Upgraded Version 3

Not 100% accurate

How to use:
- VTOL: Open/Close Jaw
- Trim: Move head up/down
- Throttle: 5%-6% to Walk / 8% to Run (More than 8% is for climbing inclines, do not exceed 15%)
- Roll: Turn

Max Speed:
- Walk: 10-11 km/h / 6-7 mph
- Run: 20-21 km/h / 12-13 mph

Fun thing to do: Can grab anything that fits in it's mouth and take them anywhere (I don't know if it can work well in multiplayer)

It's a bit uncomfortable to walk/run

Description:
The Tyrannosaurus Rex was a giant theropod dinosaur non-avian with a binocular vision that lived in the late Cretaceous in the Campanian and Maastrichtian 72.7 to 66 million years ago. It's name means "Tyrant Lizard King" and was the last Tyrannosaurid to live on Earth. The T.Rex had a powerful bite of almost 6.5 tons of force (6.4 tons), capable of breaking bones with a bite, the largest Tyrannosaurus found (Scotty) weighed 19,500 pounds / 8.8 tons, It is believed that T.rex could weighed 9 tons / 19,800 pounds.

Evolution:
The Tyrannosaurids evolved from small dinosaurus like Guanlong and Proceratosaurus that lived in the mid-late Jurassic. From all that evolution appeared the Daspletosaurus, which millions of years later evolved into the T.Rex. Because their smaller ancestors used the bite more to hunt their prey, their arms became smaller to allow them to have a powerful bite.

Interesting Facts:
- It's little arms are stronger than a human arm
- It was the largest terrestrial carnivorous animal that lived on Earth
- Many of the dinosaurs had lips that protected their teeth, and that includes the T.Rex
- Most dinosaurs like Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurus didn't live at the same time with T.rex
- At first the T.Rex had other early names which were Dynamosaurus Imperiosus and Manospondylus Gigas. M.Gigas was the oldest name, but since Tyrannosaurus Rex was the most commonly used name, Manospondylus was invalidated.
- It is said that the T.Rex was faster than we thought (Just look at how fast an elephant can be)
- The T.Rex could see perfectly and was not based on movement as it was said in Jurassic Park
- T.Rex brain was small for it's size but it was bigger compared to other large theropods

Fun fact: The most abundant group of warm-blooded reptiles in the world are the birds, as they're the only extant dinosaurs that survived the K-Pg extinction event.

This is Amazing! You can really animate the T-rex if you synchronize your movements together and it really comes alive. Plus I love the art style for the T-Rex. I hope you do a spinosaurus or a triceratops.

@EngieWeeb I actually did, but it looks like it's a bit rotated due to I rotated the whole arm for a natural posture. I've never realized 😅

Hands should face each other, not point down. Shoot even the reference image you use is correct in hand posture.

Only critique. This looks like a neat build otherwise :)
