The MiG-31, my favorite cold war interceptor, except for the English electric, idk. but this plane is a thing of wonder, the plane looks like its going to eat you with its huge engines and sleek design. the plane could get up to Mach 3 but that caused damage to the engines so pilots usually stayed around 2.5 or 2.7 Mach. It can be used to intercept aircraft like the Sr-71, B-52, and the B-1. One of the reasons I love this plane is the large inlets. idk why but it looks so menacing. I also love high speed Russian aircraft.
The plane was designed to intercept aircraft like B-52s, B-1s, and even the SR-71! the aircraft could go over Mach 3 but had to max out at around 2.5 to avoid engine damage. This plane is based off the MiG-25 as you can most likely tell because of how alike they are. The MiG-31 had many variants, one shat where anti satellite and ones for intercepting incoming enemy's. I built the first variant. there are 4 hard points under the belly, you can but hat ever weapons' you'd like there. Hope you guys like this plane as much as I did!

When AG-5 is on you will have car controls.
This Is a MiG, heave, powerful airplane. I find best dogfighting speed is from 400-600. The Turn speed can be even smaller with use of flaps. Avoid using autopilot as it has a tendency to make the aircraft "over" correct. Make sure to stay within range of you desired target. Interception is basic, full A/B and when getting near pop the breaks. I personally like to get in a close formation then slow down and wait for a missile lock before I engage. Minimum missile range is .6 M and max is 9 M. The interceptors are renamed, same with the cannon. Hope that clears anything up with how to fly. good luck.
