Rules

"hard rules"
If you break one of these rules, you are severely screwed. You will be disqualified from the challenge and won't be able to participate.

1. Must not be based on, or a direct copy of another person's build.


2. Must be a tank. For more information about tanks, head here.


3. Mods allowed to use: Tracks, Tracks 2, Overload, Fine Tuner.


4. (also applies for fictional tanks) Must have a description containing:
   

   A. Manufacturer (can be a fictional one)
   
   B. Class (MBT, TD, heavy, medium/light)
   
   C. Nation (can be a fictional one)
   
   D. Name (can be a fictional one)



5. If you use subassemblies built by other players, give them credit and make sure to have permission from them.


6. Must have a cannon


7. Jet and prop engines only for visual.

"soft rules"

for every rule you break you lose 10 points

1. Must be between 75 and 1500 parts
2. Must have a custom screenshot. If you don't know how to do it, @Star737 made a video about it
3. Wheels should not turn. Use gyros instead

"Class-specific rules"
soft rules but only apply to a certain class

Must not exceed 50 km/h
Max. Hull turn rate 180 deg/s

MBT's

Must not exceed 70 km/h
Max. Hull turn rate 180 deg/s

Heavy

Must not exceed 35 km/h
Max. hull turn rate 130 deg/s

Medium/Light

Must not exceed 80 km/h
Max. hull turn rate 230 deg/s

Realism-looks 75 points

Realism-performance 75 points

Interior quality (0 points if none) 50 points

Bonus- wernster's damage model 100 points

Main battle tanks are multi-purpose tanks that emerged at the beginning of the cold war.

Tank destroyers

Tank destroyers are tanks that are designed for the sole purpose of annihilating other tanks. They don't have much armour and thus can move fairly quickly. They usually do not have a turret.

Heavy

Heavy tanks have the most armour of all tanks. They are intended to fight on the frontline and take all the damage. That makes them very slow.

Medium/Light

Medium and light tanks have less armour than heavies which makes them suitable for reconnaissance. They are quite fast and have small cannons which usually cannot penetrate a heavy tank's armour.
