Here is a sailplane glider i built. It has large, high aspect ratio wings and a lightweight, low drag design, which allows it to maintain stable flight at speeds under 40mph. It also has a launcher somewhat similar to the winch launchers used by gliding clubs in real life. To launch, move the VTOL slider up as far as it goes, then use action group 1 to launch. When the glider levels off, activate group 2 to detach the aircraft feom the launch cable, and retract the gear. Then its just a matter of coordinatingpitch, roll, rudder and speedbrake inputs to maintain level flight for as long as possible, before executing a safe, controlled landing.
