From me, to you-
The Mk.7 is my(I think) 7th attempt in making a simple catapult. I had given up a month ago but I went back at it again today and finished with this. It uses two pistons and a detacher to launch aircraft with wheels to aid it. I had to compromise with the aircraft detaching before the catapult could even go to the end but either way if you slap this bad boy on a ship then you won’t notice it. The Observer is simplified and is for use with my WIP battleship.

INSTRUCTIONS
Ag.6-Start engine, wait until full rpm
Ag.7- Watch him go, you can pull back on the stick so any sudden hiccups might be avoided

Before use, do test out as some times the aircraft would rip it’s propeller mid launch or tip over in the end. So I suggest lightly pulling back

Now if you want to use an aircraft of your choice, the catapult might not accept just because the pistons don’t like heavy objects and thus the Observer which was originally 17,000 pounds, I had to decrease to less than 1000 just so she could function on the catapult. Do that and tweak the engines for preferred performance.

I will use this for my battleship and future ships. I think it works fine for others to use, maybe the use of two activation groups might be difficult to work with especially on a build with several features but having both on one activation group would lead to some problems. Well, enjoy

Ps. The Observer can turn on a dime so maybe it can dodge missiles
