I M P O R T A N T  N O T I C E: Please be mindful of the firing angles especially the AA guns.

After the battle of Jutland in 1916, Germany needed to replace the ships lost in battle, there's already Bayern and Baden currently built but the high seas fleet needed more that's why the German High Command placed an order for a battleship that can sustain damage and have more than enough range and firepower to face multiple British battleships that it may eventually face. And so the plan Hull 40057 was formed a 213m long hull that has a beam of
31.6m, originally the ship was planned with 8 x 2  406mm cannons however it was later decided to have 6 × 2  457mm cannons to have an answer for a possible British counterpart in the near future if ever it was built. There are to be 2 ships to be built Sms Wilhemshaven and Hull 40058 which are to be named after the keel is laid, the ships armor composes of a 380mm main belt, 430mm conning tower, 380mm for the barbettes and 406mm for the turret faces with having a max speed of 22kts. After it's contruction in 1918 the war is nearing it's end and Sms Wilhelmshaven is only beginning her sea trials on August of 7 1918. After the war negotiations were set in keeping some of the German ships for themselves, these ships are Sms Wilhelmshaven, Sms Hindenburg and Sms Derfflinger and the rest are to be turned over to the Royal Navy. In world war 2 she participated on shore bombardments and commerce raiding however on August 18, 1943 she was intercepted by the British battleships Hms Rodney, Hms Nelson and Hms Anson the battle lasted around 2 hours witg both sides trading fire, due to being outnumbered Sms Wilhemshaven can only train one turret on each ship with this in mind she managed to score multiple hits on Hms Anson disabling both her forward turrets and heavily damaging her superstructure, she also manage to hit Hms Nelson and almost sinking her, although the crew managed to save the ship in the meantime she was later scuttled due to heavy damage. As for the Nelson she only recieved moderate damage with the Sms Wilhelmshaven destrorying her 3rd turret. For Wilhelmshaven herself she proved to have one of the toughest of armor even in ww2 standards sustaining 210 hits from all calibers from 127mm to 406mm guns and all of them were direct hits either to the superstructure or to the hull, she sank with only having 100+ lives being saved out of 1,500 crew and officers.

Personal Notes
Wellllll finally finished her after months hahahahah, a lot has happened
While making her well atleast she's done. Gotta be my first ever battleship that has 457mm guns making her probably the most dangerous ship in my fleet (if the caliber is the only thing were gonna base) as usual you guys can use all the guns that are present but again, please be mindful of the firing angles of the AA guns as you might hit the bridge and the captain probably won't like that...LOL. so yeah please enjoy blowing stuff up out of the watet with these 457mm guns ^^

Oh and btw, what do you guys think is better?
Jean Bart or Vanguard?

A Huge thank you to @UnmanagedReservior and @Shironeko for the pics! They really made this post feel lively TwT

    Official evaluation

    - First Impression (4/5):

The ship's look is great, albeit the layout slightly going off course from the typical dreadnought layout (only three turrets, reminscent of later fast battleships). The ship not being too compatible with the ocean mod gave a bit of negative first impression and the wobbly turrets were also quite strange.

    - Design/Accuracy (10/15):

As mentioned earlier, the ship went with an unusual approach to main battery layout with the three turrets and the fact that they house 18 inch main cannons (to my knowledge, unseen on any dreadnought of the era), but other than that seems to tick off the usual desin features of WWI German battleships and overall feel authentic.

    - Details (10/15):

The ship takes a nice approach of detail-to-part count balance, not overdoing the the detailing in order to save parts.
Details include all sort of on deck equipment, riggings, many windows, torpedo netting and so on.
However, I did notice a few strange thins, such as binoculars being larger than entire windows, seemingly inconsistend deck heights (one deck being the height of two others) and lifeboats being insanely large.

    - Features (10/20):

In terms of features, the ship seems to aim for firepower: the main features include every single weaponry on the ship being usable plus the searchlights can be switched on too.
I found the aiming of the guns to be slightly difficult at first and the aft main turret seems to turning much faster than the forward ones.
Having gyro control for steering and jet engines for propulsion was a bit disappointing.
Adding detatchers under every turret is a bit weird to me, I feel like there was a scrapped feature there but now they do nothing but make every turret a bit wobbly (unless that was the intent)

    - Build Quality (7/10):

The build uses some pretty clever solutions to add more details while saving parts such as using labels for windows and also using slicing extensively. I feel like more could have been done to increase details with some other creative part usage but overall it's very solid.
I did notice some building mistakes, such as the aforementioned deck height inconsistency, and more noticeably two different colour fuselages clipping on the top of the turrets.

    - Performance (8/20):

Unfortunately, the ship does not perform well with the ocean mod, being very bouncy (especially after spawning but also when underway). The ship does have limitations in place to keep a realistic max speed, and while the gyro turns a bit fast, it's still within acceptable limits.
I also found the weaponry to be a bit hard to use.

    - Description and Information (9/15):

The description very fair, not too long, not too short, has a balanced mix of text and images, gets the job done. Some formatting (other than using capital letters and spaces) would have been nice but not bad overall

Some day I imagine being able to play with a performance cost of more than 5000
