"Did this F-35 entered a dogfight?! It's less maneuverable so I have an ad- OH SHI-" *distant boom*

-another enemy fighter pilot

Based on some schematics and a good $100m, we've finally figured out why it's too expensive and has a mediocre maneuverability. After some research in cooperation with [REDACTED] A better model was established now known as FA-50. Exportation of this model is strictly supervised and only allowed with the close allies of the SFA. Upgrades includes the Standard Upgrade Package Rho and a modified Mk-201

Most aircrafts here in the simpleplanes community comes in two variants @MI
    .
    The replicas and the fictional.
    .
This aircraft being fictitious but was inspired from multiple sources and real aircrafts to create such models. The two examples being the mentioned F/A-35 and the F/A-22.
    .
No, there are no real F/A-50s, but was inspired by Real aircrafts.
    .
    .
    .
(Unless there is a secret manufacturer of aircrafts that coincidentally have this model of aircraft.)

The F-35 hardware-wise isn't the most impressive as a whole.

The software though, is flawless. That's probably where most of the billions of dollars pumped into the jet went. @ColonelStriker

The F-35 has met many criticism all over the internet. While most people believed for those lies. Using those, we can surprise anyone that the F-35 is just trash. @Pilotmario but yes, I agree with you.

    Interesting.

The Paternian Air Force has no issues with the F-35. We found modern air combat was more or less a long-range missile spamfest, and that initiating the fight was synonymous with victory. And the F-35 was very good at both.

In the rare cases where the F-35 did have to dogfight an Su-35 or PAK-FA, the F-35 held its own very well.

How? Team tactics. 1v1 fights are almost never going to happen, and it has been proven that slower less maneuverable aircraft can hold their own against faster and more maneuverable types. That's how Paternian F-35 decimated the Su-35 in dogfights.

Sure, the Su-35 can turn circles around virtually anything, but that's basically gone if the thing wants to chase something less maneuverable.
