”Slugcat journeys along...”
This is the Leapzard from RainWorld, one of the most unique lizards from the game. It’s also in my opinion, the coolest in the game. They can use their tails to charge up energy, and jump with great force.
Here’s a GIF of one:
Controls:
VTOL to walk/run, Yaw to turn. Pitch and Roll for head movement. TRIM for mouth movement. AG-1 plus Pitch and Roll to adjust your angle on slopes, to make it easier to walk. You can also use this to crouch or rear up, although it looks a little weird.
Now for the fun controls! AG-2 plus Pitch and Roll to angle yourself for a jump, and to control your movement mid-air. I recommend that you turn off AG-8 and AG-1 before jumping, otherwise it’ll be difficult to angle yourself. “FireGuns” to jump into the air at high speeds, just try not to hit the ground too hard when landing, and make sure the bottom of your tail hits the ground first, and then your talons. You may want to have AG-8 activated as you fall, to make sure you land right side up. It’s all a rather complicated process, but once you get the hang of it you can jump anywhere with ease. This build, while it’s “completed“ by my standards, is still a heavy work in progress. It’s easy to royally screw up, and explode something upon landing, or even just by jumping. The talons can also break off if you land too hard. Aside from that, it’s also possible to jump midair, although the Lizard AI in RainWorld doesn’t actually know how to do this effectively.
Anyway, this is probably the most fun lizard to play as in my RainWorld Fauna series, even though it has some problems.
